I bought my N80 last year&ever since had problems,had to repair it few times although had it upgraded to latest firmware 4..something.This phone has great capabilities but with too many problems&always needs repairing, too bad cause Im really a Nokia fan but still had to put it aside as spare phone,too bad for money spent on it it is a piece of junk,may be just my luck like some other unfortunate users

I have an unbranded(sim free) n80 with the latest firmware and it is still so slow!All my 3rd party applications are stored on the memory card,no fancy themes installed,high quality card etc.My work colleague is using a sp5 and it's considerably faster,why?I'm at my wits end with this mobile!

LOL all the hate, and not in very good english.
The n80 is a GREAT phone. Wifi works well and fast. Camera takes good pics. Maybe not the best on the market but certainley near the top. If you take a pic and move your hand of course itll be blurry. Same thing will happen with any camera.
Batery life is a little low if you are playing with the phone , but simple calling and just leaving it alone. It is pretty good! A bigger battery would be nice for when you are using some of its features but that means a heavier/bulkier phone. You cant have it all. You have to have some trade offs.
Its a great phone that offers a lot for the price. You want the n95. (I do) but it costs considerably more money. THe n73 is also a nice choice, but the key pad is smaller and harder to use. It also lacks WIFI.
Its up to you to play with each phone and decide on what you want, but dont be afraid of the N80. its really a great phone.

how can i put a videoclip on my N80?????i can't or don't know how to put a clip on it,what format must it be? plssssss plsssssss someone tell me pretty plssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

This phone sucks, had it for a day before i returned it. Wifi sucks, phone freezes, camera is poor. T-Mobile DASH is soo much better.

Im having a slight problem ,
When I restart my phone it has almost 20MB Free RAM , but even if I dont run any application or anything , after 1 or 2 hours when I check , memory is around 7 8 mb free , even when there are no applications running , and I cant Run two programs at a time it says Low Memory , is there any soloution to this problem?

i love the phone it has everything .
watch out for temperature change if you are outside in the cold the phone will reset cuz of the cold .
i wrather have the n73 without the slide and wi-fi but the n80 is a solid slider phone compared to a samsung D600 or a chocolat n80 is solid .good job nokia ,
now waiting for the n95 like every one that had symbian , we know it s the most compleat symbian phone nokia made and will still be for a long time after the n80 !

hmmm well i think set is kinda KEWL am using it and and wi fi also WORKS !! . abt sets sliding mechanism hmmm gets bit loose not a gsm set for SMS lovers. plus camera is Fantastic but nite mode is bit lower then n70 ..cheers

Simply a great one have. Keypad is much better than N73. Wud surely feel great.

LMAO!What rubbish you guys write.So you think the n80 will pick up a wireless network from a distance of between 50-100m?Check out the poor chip before posting such nonsense.The usable RAM is a joke*another reason why this mobile is SLOW*Build quality is shocking,camera is ok but probably the poorest of the CMOS 3+mp cams out there.This phone was a 'tester' before the n95-I pity the people that have been conned into purchasing the n80!

hey i had 6680 like 2 months ago. and now i have the n80 can any1 tell me if i can change the faceplate. and my screen is messing up. it would go to main screen and to the menu.. keeps doing it repeatedly. any help will do. thanks to nokia fanatics.

Hi All,
the phone is Awesome, for those who think it's slow, all new (smart phones) are comparitively slow, that is because if Nokia or other manufacturers would install faster processors, the phones will become rediculously expensive.... so that's how retail market work, read some about product development and supply chain you'll get a better understanding,
N80 is Great in terms of Big Screen, WiFi, simplicity, Good camera(s), a really good deal in comparison with what's out there....

what ever!!! i have the N80 for almost 1mounth!! its awsome and it take nice photos!! be gentel with the phone and it will work nicely!! its realy agood phone!! i recomend it to every1!!!

Couldnt wait to get my N80 in August. What a nightmare, everything was slow, screen kept freezing along with network problems. I returned it and got a new N80 as a replacement a few weeks ago. SMS is really quick now with no problems. The slider still remains a problem. I have lost heart in it now.
