Thanks Owen and SeF for the valuable input! I'm sort of leaning towards the N73 ME; I'm just wondering if it's available in Singapore yet.

            Hi JEN

if you're not into internet or Wifi, then you should get the N73 Music edition.

i have both N80 and N73 Music Ed. they both are great phones.

            N80 for Internet
            N73 for Music and Camera

Just got the phone back from carphonewarehouse after two weeks. They had to send the phone back to Nokia who didnt even have the decency to upgrade the firmware and made the phone dirty.

Had to upgrade the firmware to V 4.0623.0.42 now via the nokia website using PC Suite. Overall don't really notice a difference except maybe the phone boots up a tad faster. OS is still slow as hell. Needless to say i've tried nokia and im not impressed at all!.

This is a great phone, I've been using it for about a month now. My only problem is the battery life, however it lasts a whole day for me and that's all I need (Who leaves their house for more than 24 hours with no charger?). The wifi is great, although it does tend to suck the battery a lot faster.

If you do have a big problem with the battery life, buy spare battery to carry round. That gives you about 6 hours talk time?

The only other thing is it's SLOW. But that's the OS problem, a lot of phones have similar problem. Don't like it, then change the OS. Google it.

Although Nokia phone ha smany feature, the built quanlity and the stability is become and and more worst, many of their design SUCKs too. I am more and more disappointed with nokia. My surronding friend also supporting my view, they are mess producting phone but their QA sucks.

i have had the n80 for 6 months now and it is a great phone. It has had many faults but i have now updated the software and all the faults have been fixed. The n80 was one of the best phones out 6 months ago and it still is!

Imitially I thought the N80 was a great phone and it has indeed one of the very best camera ever. Unfortunately, I am encountering many problems which include...text messages taking an eternity to send, random freezing and basically the phone stops functioning meaning people cannot get through to me. I have been informed that this is due to the amount of software it has and by visiting the nokia website and updating..may remedy the problem. I hope so.

Oh, and for all the N80 users - when you install themes - save / install it on your PHONE MEMORY, that way you can uninstall it again in the application manager. Cause some of the themes installed onto the memory card, cannot be found or uninstalled in the application manager. Thanx, and i hope it helps !

You should definately go for the N80 instead of the N93. N93 only has a good video quality and optical zoom with the carl zeiss logo. Otherwize its a big and very bulky brick. The N80 is much smaller, but thick, and still a lot thinner than the N93.
And for the people with the application installation problem when you formated your memory card - you should format your phone itself two, by pressing and holding: the green button, the * on your keypad, and the 3 on your keypad - all at once while switching the phone on. And when the light comes on (before you can see the nokia logo), leave all the pressed keys at once. Try it untill it works !

I've had the n80 and i'm really glad I don't own one now.It struggled to send sms, dropped calls, faultly slider, poor battery life, the list goes on and on.My operator agreed that their was too many faults with the handset and I was by no means the alone, infact I do believe another carrier-orange uk have stopped selling the n80*no wonder*
