OK guys you sound like u know your stuff.... i am new to this and need some help. two phones i am interesten in are nokia n73 and n80 although they are practally the same phone i like the cack the n80 has wifi but i have the fact it a bit chunky ??
i like the sleek desisn of the n73 and its 3d surround speakers but stil do not know which one to choose ............. what would be ur opinions
also can u tell me if the WiFi is difficult to use

hi guys, i have a problem in N80, when I download any application(softwares), the web browser directly open the file and cant install. for example, I am installing handyZip- the browser downloads the file completely and shows-
"handyZip.sis not supported". but iv downloaded handyZip from N80/S60 3rd edition softwares and all does the same. but same software works sent from another mob. what 2 do?

best performans mini sd for n80 kingston 2gb 52x read.best camera user setting sharpnes high and contrast+2 up jpeg siz normal 800kb or 1mb im user setting up to 1.5mb or 2mb!!!!!!

Ding, u r wrong..N80 is the useless phone. there are so many problem. Video no sound la, sometimes cannot play the video from the download. N73 is better than N80. Why spend money for these phone..I suggest u to throw away ur N80 n get N73...N80 doesnt looking nice..UGLY TOO!! Too Thick n Heavy.

about your camera flash... its weird why its set to OFF by default...
because my N80 is the other way around. its always ON and whenever i dont want to use the flash, i always set it to OFF...
hahaha
maybe we need to swap N80

N80 can connect to a router the same way regardless if it has Dynamic or Static IP..
if you cannot connect with WPA, try to remove the wireless key of your router first and see if it will connect without a key just to make sure your N80 isnt defective...
try WEP as well.

Yep their is no getting away from the fact the n80 is extremely slow.The hardware the device possesses makes the argument it's fast ridiculous!Maybe the people stating it's a speedy mobile have never owned a smartphone with 'true' power or are fanboys thus praising anything nokia.Reality check needed.

Anyone know how to set up the WLAN with a static IP on router via WPA-128 (PSK)? I get gateway error when trying to connect.

mixed messsages then! i have a n80 and i hate it so much when i send a text it freezes for up to 5 mins its so slow!! i am jealous of those who havent had this problem you are very lucky! yea ok the battery does suck but so what? i am willing to charge every night but with a decent phone i am deffiantly getting rid of it soon as possible!

i've had n80 for about a day and needless to say it's perfetc!super smart!the only thing that seems to bother me until now is that i can't use other themes but those that are alredy in the phone and let me say they're really ugly.some friends have sent me a few themes but when i want to open them it says that it can't open the file,or somthin like that..has this happened to any of u who have this phone?????can anyone help me???aside from that,i think that n80 has so many applications that i certainly will noy wse all of then soon.luv it..

nokia is world best.i have used 6 nokia phones and all rock . i love nokia. now iam using the n 80 and it is so kool every thing is good.for me nokia is number 1. and nokia pls make slim phones pls. kartik nokia rocks

is it possible to use my mobile as remote either for the Tv or gate, besides that what other funky stuff is this phone capable of doing. im enjoying ny N80, pity the battery life span is short, cant listen to my music all day & nite.

hi guys !
i have problem with my flash light . whenever i want to take pc with flash i should go to camera menu and turn the flash option ON after just taking one picture automatcally it returns back to off mode so i should tun it on again through its menu and its very tiring an u help me ?
