who on earth buys a device so rich in features and applications is going to be satisfied with a 128mb card?The whole point of having a smartphone is the ability to add various applications but with 20mb program memory Nokia have sold us short(irriatating that the n70 has more!)In this day and age Any smartphone or pda worth it's salt should handle a 2gig card with ease,somehow I think the finnish fellows know we will buy the n95 and all will be forgiven AGAIN.

Hey guys i have had the Nokia N80 for about for 6 days now and I have to say that I love it. The battery life does suck of course so be prepared to get another backup battery or recharge it once every day. Generally speaking everything opens fast and the camera is great. It has crashed maybe once. The only small concern that I have at this point is that sometimes when someone calls me and their number is not stored in my contacts, my screen will look "mangled." What i mean is that i won't be able to see the number correctly as i should be. It is blurred so to speak. If anyone knows why and could tell me that would be great... Maybe it is cuz i am using a 128 mb card? i dunno...thanks

This is the Best mobile phone by far. It has the most functions a phone can have. Any other phone that lives upto this ones standards (eg. LG with its 5Megapixel camera) looks awefully UGLY ! This is the most advanced all in one handset with a host of features. Not even the N73 is as good as this mate, cause only thing good about the N73 is the autofocus - furthermore it has lower quality screen, NO WI-FI / UPNP, aweful joystick and its rather big and bulky when carrying in your pocket, whereas the N80 is a little thicker but feels 10 times smaller. N80 is the King of all Mobiles !

I wanna to know what is the best memory storage for This mobile ? i mean N80..
i heard that 2GB makes phone very slow is that correct ? or should i buy 1 GB ?

The n80 is slow due to the cpu being a silly 220mhz and the casching techniques used.Shame really as it's not a bad mobile.

if you have a problem with the media player only playing one song thsts cos your oly selecting one song to play... if you want more than one to play... try making a play list on the phone? its that simple, and as for the post about the phone being slugish i have the latest firmware v4 and its runs smooth anf ast, playing many different file formats will slow the thing down.. it will slow the vario 2 down aswell.. try sticking to one format when playing songs ect..just common sence realy also the problem could be with the momory card being sh it? memory cards vary in value grately? was it from ebay? was the make? they all have different wrread write speads which will effect playback ect and generally you get more "lagg" for a larger 1gb card than you do from a 128 card... its the same on all phones mate not just this one. common sence realy...

the media player cannot play contineous, after one song i have to select the next song manually, the media player normally stops playing when it is 2seconds to complete the song, can anybody help. what should i do to get the media player to finish playing the song completely.

Boy this phone is so slow.I have the latest firmware and it's still a snail!I am currently using a gig mem card with different file types,eg .mp3,ogg mp4 x sis etc .I read a comment stating this mobile could keep up-It most certainly cannot.I'm selling and investing the cash in a windows pda(MDA vario II)I just can't put up with the snail anymore.

The n80 is a great phone even thing gives problems pc everything so dont worry it all can be fixed im puting this phone to great use software videos from my pc and lots of fun everything is worth trying well peace out enjoy ur phone

I had to charge my N80 every day, negative
I had to wait minutes to go into internet.
It did not see every wlan
takes long time to quit programs and t start new one.
So my n80 is gone yesterday. Money spend for many problems.

Its a great phone,camera is great,better than my previous one(N70).But sound is not that good as sony ericsson's mobiles.Overall its a great phone.

WITHOUT BATTERY YOU DO NOTHING !
And that where N80 hit you most.I had bought this phone looking this review and NOKIA reliabilty and phone features. BUT what ever function this phone have If your phone didnot last for more than 3 hour then you will carry nothing more then DEAD PHONE. And that exaclty this phone is all about.
I have used wifi for about an hoour and phone battery didnot last for 3 hour .
Next day I have re-charged the phone for 8 long hours and use blue tooth for about half an hour and I had face same issue phone battery dry up.
Guys my personal advice is plzzzzzzzzz dnt go for N80 I dnt knw about other phone but I'm suffering every penny that I have spent on it.
YOU WILL FIND ABOUT 300 OPENION ..SOME ONE IN FAVOUR AND SOME ARE AGAINST.BUT TRUST ME I DNT HAVE ANY ISSUE WITH NOKIA BUT I'M STILL BELIVE N80 BATTERY SUCK.
IMAGINE YOU CAN CHARGE YOUR PHONE 4 TIME IN A DAY .RIGHT AND IF YOU CANNOT AFFORD THAT THEN YOU ARE GOING TO BUY A PHONE WHICH GOES DEAD AFTER 3 HOUR THAT ON MAX.

geek i have the phone for 4months now. it has not restart even once.
you're just unlucky you've got a dead phone.
