Issues i have with the phone:
It hangs for no reason and sometimes gets back on it's feet. other times it's take the battery out time.
Texts are amazingly slow which means you can't use your phone til it's settled back down.
Battery lasts a day if you don't use it.

i dunno wat some ppl are on bout, hav had the phone for a while, hav had no problems watsoeva... best phone i'v eva used

i had this fone for a week when it was first released in the philippines..i sold it as soon as i could.. it took almost 3-5min to send a text..same problem with the n91 i had previously..nokia is experiencing a lot of bugs with the n series..best opt and buy a k800 instead..

this phone is nice and gr8 to look at however i wud not recommend it to anyone. the battery life is a shamble honestly if you use it all the time you will need to charge it twice a day! nokia have really gone down in my estimations to launch a phone like this and the battery life does not last a day!

I'm In England kenny. It is my first Symbian phone admittedly. I've changed from dual bands to GSM and not noticed any difference.

to jmc,, where are you in world firstly?? next any outgoing or incoming txts emails etc will delay txt message sending so if your a busy user sometimes TXT NOT SENT can appear if your whipping off txts & there coming in as well,,,i dont use wi-fi but there is settings in phone so your device can choose the optimun data route so first it will search for wi-fi then 3g & lastly gprs so going thru this procedure can hinder txt sending,,,Next have you sent a txt before on a symbian device because it not as fast as my w900i,,thats all i can think of at moment but mine seems generally normal but i would not say it was speedy

I'm actually thinking of sending this back it's annoying me. However i might persevere as it is a good phone apart from the crashes (which tech support are sorting *cough*).
From what i can gather through the posts a bigger mem card and firmware update will speed things up? Now can someone tell me if this has made their texts send at a "normal" speed and not the minute or two it takes me now.
Symbian is wonderful, Wifi I could kiss the guy who invented it but if it can't send a text message quickly so you can use other features like make a phone call then it's all going to pot somewhere along the way and someone needs to remind themselves it's a phone with extra features but a phone none the less.

i buy today the n80 mbl is very good and preety bt i have to charge it 24 hours sooo....im goin to have it tomorrow at 10:40

This is a very great great phone... with cool pix and the greatest resolusion. But batterie life is abit poor. Ho, is that the BL-5C can help with this problem?
But till now i still cant not find any software compatable to this phone yet!
Could anyone tell me some web address to get N80 soft for free... or if you have some can you upload it to my yahoo mail box: sontanasang@yahoo.com
Ho, i got one more problem! It is about the yahoomail on my mobile... what can i do to retrieve the mail from my mail box to my phone... I wondering about the yahoo user name! Is that the ID?

the battery can be extended to 2 whole days a average user, someone who uses the phone a day. my friend bought one because she thought it pretty small for a being a smartphone but she only use it to check mails and do some quick calls and get 2 days and a half day... having to charge before night but at that time she is at home so it works as she wants

Still no N80 in the States. Just crap phones you'd never want to buy. Our carriers are cheap cheap cheap.

Yeah I would love to know whether the BL 6C battery works with the N80. According to Nokia it doesn't, well its not the compatible list anyway.
