everybody need to write nokia and tell them. we need a more powerful battery for the Nokia N80. and get ur friends to write them aswell. i dont know if it will work. but everthing is worth trying. lets try that everybody.

Had the N80 for 2 months or so,had to return it 14 days ago,as the themes where not showing up on the applications to allow removal,so i formatted the memory card,and it wouldnt let me reinstall any themes that where on the card when fomatted,new themes are fine,same thing happened again today,giving them one more chance to provide me with a working phone,then its a new model,can't decide on the k800i or the nokia N93

it would be better if nokia manufacture more powerful battery for n80 that will last for 3 days. *hoping* geeeezz, i just love my black n80. =p though is quite expensive, just love it love it love!!!

you have to understand people that n80 is a lil bit slower than any other fones. because it has a lot of feautres, thats why it will take more time because of the processes to run on a symbian fone like n80.

all that i can say is that n80 is really a nice phone. it has everything you need. i love every features they included on it.
im a SE user before...
what i hate most about SE is that their price reduced faster than nokia phones. compare the w800i before its first release in the philippines was php28000 then after 3 months, its price goes down to php20000 then php15000. while n70 its first release was php30000 then still its price is php19-21000. SE cellphones manufactures faster than nokia. from w800i to w810i from w900i to w950i. they have the same specs when compared to their successor. i just dont like SE phones. they usually reproduce their cellphones like t610 to t630.
nokia in the philippines is still the most popular phone in the country. the reason why? they capture every filipinos needs. =)

Hey guys you've said that a bl-5c battery would work on a n80 but it is clearer longer than the packaged battery. Just want to make sure b4 buying one

when i put the n80 on charge from dead within 1/2 hour it says fully charged then stops charging the battery only lasts a day then. this also happens with my mates N80 too, otherwise good phone

no real prob with the phone, just that i hav a car phone charger which i had for my old nokia, and i tried connectin that to the N80 via the charger adapter... but it says the battery is not charging. wat am i doing wrong?

It is the best phone that i see.it has all tech in the mobile technology.it is a very good phone.

hey, ive had the n80 for a few weeks, its the best phone i've bought yet although i was dissapointed with its battery life and lack of good programs, also the fact that u cant turn off the camera flash even after its set on off. bottom line it got thrown in a pool, and remerkably it was fixed but it sounds as if its hanging on a thread which is why im gonna sell it, so wat would u guys recommend, i enjoyed the n80 very much, but should i buy another n80 or the k800? its a realy important desicon for me because the next phone i decide to buy is gonna be around for a year if not more!

viewers i bought n80 2 days ago. but now im dissapointed. they say that teh camera is 3.2 MP but sorry to say to me its like vga camera. when i saw the taken pics on my monitor i was shocked and the night mode is absolutely rubbish. now i will never go for nokia.. Sony Ericson ROCKS !!

I ofrgot to mention that unlike the 6650 i cannot send videos or pics that are more than 100 kb to another mobile, with the 6650 you can send quite big files so i was wells urprised about that when I called 02 to ask why I couldn't send big files the lady on the other end said it was beacsue the N80 had so many functions on it that something had to give! I am so glad that i'm back with the 6650, it kinda defeats the object that you buy a newer phone but cant do half as much as your old phone can do.
When your in image mode with the N80 and you want to go to video Mode, compared to what you gave to do to get into Vid mode is just grief with the 6650 simply click! and then your in video mode! you save so much time
Anyway your not going to hear from me again (Not until i cast my opinion on th N72 anyway ! Laterzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I have the Nokia 6650 and I upgraded to the N80 Big Mistake! What I hated about the N80 is that when you transfer pictures to it, every pic, every video you have on it,all gets kept on one page! Sure you can create Albums/folders but you cant delete the pics of the page once they're in the album which isn't really a good idea especially say if you have rude pics of your missus! With the 6650 you transfer straight into whatever folder you like! Hey Presto! Privacy!
Also you have to get really used to taking a pic and not getting your finger across the camera screen (which has no cover) and also a very disappointing thing is you have to have the phone in a rectangular position to take a pic especialy if you want the pic as a screensaver.
I sent it back and im now going to wait on the new N73 which pretty much resembles my old Nokia 6650 so with a bit of luck the control functions will be the same, the N80 is a
beautiful looking phone but Nokia need to think about some control functions
The Video Editor always used to save Randomly so that wasn't much cop
Please Nokia the best phone you ever had out was the 6650 can't you build on that? When I sent the N80 back and got back with the 6650 it was so simple to use
On the other hand if anyone can find a way of not having all the pics on Pic and video screen im prety sure my email address is left at the top of this page.

to jmc saw your post have not used this option but its there somwhere..Have seen it written in some written report & trying to find it.If you wonder into wi-fi it will switch to it or if wi-fi or 3g not available it uses gprs...That would drain the battery more but would it affect txting???im voda uk and from pressing SEND & recieving the delivered report its 28 seconds

when the gameboy come out they made a magnifier to fit over it to enlarge the viewing area..Does any firm do this for mobiles as the n80 resolution is enuf to blow up a bit ,,say as big as the n93,,if not there could be a market for a slim thin plastic or glass magnifying film that just snaps onto the fone to increase the viewing experiance....The browser is fun but i still disable images most of time which does spoil the mobile experiance all because of data cost,,,it seems phone calls and txts are cheap but data huh !!!Have downloaded a basic java stopwatch & 2 java games from zedge/ mobango & things will get even better when all apps are updated & new stuff written for the series 60 third edition,,getting well into this fone as you may well guess

the BL-5B battery it comes with is physically shorter than the BL-5C by about 7 or 8 mm, roughly. Battery life is rough getting through a 100+ minute-talk-time day.
