i am planing to buy this phone in the near future and i just wanted to ask when some ppl mean the phone is slow do the mean when its turened on and takes a while to load to the inital screen or slow when pressing the menu button there is cople off seconds of wait before the menu shows ?? thanx

I recently purchased a 2gb sandisk miniSD card for this phone, however, i along with other have had some serious compatibility issues with N80 and the card, so it would seem the firmware cannot cope with the high capacity, frequently displaying 'database corrupted' messages when accessing the gallery, for example. So warning to all prosepctive buyers, wait a while to purchase this pohone, or at leat untill Nokia have corrected this carzy fault!!!

This phone is a letdown. I had it and returned it. The baterry life is too much of an issue as is the awful sliding mechanism. Granted the specs are fantastic but overall I was letdown. Nokia just don't have it anymore.

I also had problems with bad signal on N80. I'm using my sim card in another phone and it works well.

I bought N80 because of all nice specs around display,camera & video among other things. However, the short battery life, slow applications and body design disappointed me. I use a belt pouch (works best for me) and whenever I take N80 out to answer calls, phone opens and I lose the call. I might be wrong but I cannot seem to disable the slide mechanism from accepting calls. If phone was nicely rounded it would've made a diff for me. After 1 week have now traded phone in - gonna lose some money for sure! Thx, Deez

Is this the latest? If not then how do i update my firmware on my own?

Currently N80 is the only phone that displays Landscape Gallery, each phone has its unique function, for my N80, the gallery rocks, viewing in landscape is very good, I am not sure if N93 can view in landscape, I think so since it looks like a TV.

My N80 tells me that i am trying to remove my sdcard. It gives me the whole 'Unsafe to remove memory card without selecting Remove mem. card first' message, but hey presto: the card is still firmly and securely in the right place. Can anybody tell me if they have the same problem and what to do?!

hey lanar listen carefully...the k800 is not have case is so stupid mobile the video pixels is 176x144 n80 video is 352x288 the k800 video is so tiny maybe you can't see what you recording.....k?....now all listen is veeeeeeeeeeeeeery good big display 3mpx camera good video and the battery is going long is very good buy it and you dont have anything to lose im goin to buy it at 10 august im waiting this day all and all dont see the specifications from there this site is not 100% sure that is correct is saying it to the bottom of the page the phone is really exciting you gonna love it believe me is smart phone 3rd edition media key slide up is all perfect....if anyone want to say to me something write a message thanxx.........

hey you that you say that the battery is not goin long time you can take your mobile to the shop that you buy it and they goin to install a program that the battery is goin a long time or you can buy more powerful battery and the phone is not slow is SMART PHONE thanks....

this phone it's almost perfect if it's not slide, or nokia should build this phone with a quality slide, cause the slide of this phone really get loose easy
