I had a nokia N80 for 2 weeks the battery life was very poor the best was 25 hours with no calls and the worst was 7 hours with about 5 calls, the phone itself was very good just the battery does'ntseem to cope .

i love this phone very high quality display when u see the display of n80 u dont like any other phone display, makes other phone display look blur

ALEX have u connected to ur router via wifi from the n80? also u must instal the UPNP app, thers a link to the app on the n80s software disk that comes with the fone, try that pal!

no network in the uk supports push to talk so i wudnt wory bout that yet!

Why am I unable to turn on content sharing in the home networks option? Is it because I am not under a 3g network? I dont understand How to use this option

I am planning on buying the N80. I wanted to see what peope have paid for this phone in the US and from where. Any links would be greatly appreciated. Also, I have seen the silver one in person, and wanted to see if people prefered the black one or silver.

yes u can connect ur n80 to the net with wi-fi, if u have unlimited broadband then naturaly it wnt cost u anymore than u pay now, altho it wnt connect tru aol it just connects directly to ur wireless router!

Hi There
Just a question i have ordered my n80 which will be arriving tomorrow. i have wirless internet in my house and use it to log on with my wi-fi enabled laptop to aol. however i do a lot of mobile surfing with my currant handset and was wondering how the costing works and is it full internet access and would i still log on through some sort of aol software using my password or do i use a different provider. incase it makes a diffeence im with vodafone contract

Hey James and JaseBris,
I am here in Melbourne, Australia. Have been asking around some of the phone dealers, apparently the "imported" version are available now (from HK). Some of the stores offer local warranty (not from Nokia). Surprisingly different stores sold them for different price, range from $820 - $1099! Seems ridiculous to me.
Anyway, if you guys want it quick, some of the local stores have their site on eBay.
I am still thinking whether I should get an imported or wait until it is officially release.
Anyone know if Australia version of N80 will support Chinese input?

Another aussie here waiting impatiently for the release, my local optus dealer said definetely by the end of this month, so shouldnt be too long, just if you guys or any other aussies in here hear of any local store releases, let us all know here asap :)
