wi-fi isnt a waist of time, its this years "must have" feature, its great to have it coz now i dnt have to pay those silly network data rates, i used to get £300+ bills because of gprs data, now its just my standard line rental! as for battary usage, frm a full charge with wi-fi constantly in use with the browser the n80 lasts around 3 - 4 hours, its not great but it isnt bad, in another forum sum1 timed how long it lasted with gprs, it only lasted around an hour longer! so if uv got broadband at home its well worth it, i'll never have a fone without wifi in the future!

        To N80 users or Owners:

Many people have been saying that using WLAN (WiFi) the N80 is a waste of Time and BATTERY power. Given a solid connected access point, is the wlan on the N80 really burdensome? How about battery consumption via wlan?

This feature is really the deal breaker for me to choose between getting the N80 and the N73 which is fully loaded but lacks wifi. But then again it adds to a longer battery life.

What are your thoughts and suggestions floks?

the camera quality is great and it can accept all Series 60 applications.

But its rather big and heavy....and its also a bit slow.

But my overall impression is that this phone is great and worth the money...and its getting cheaper day after day.

The memory card included is 128MB but I could find micro-SD cards in the market.

          Really great phone

to the guy with the laptop, goto www.opera.com and download opera browser for ur pc/laptop, this browser alows u to view html/wml pages! to the guy who cant conect via wLAN, goto settings/conection settings/access points and make a new access point, select Wireless LAN then select search, it shud then find ur router and conect, if u use any security/encryption on ur router make sure u put corect settings into the access point u make in the n80!

where is autofocus ,nokia engineers always made mistake when making a phone and also this phone comes with poor bl-5b battery and cheap slider
and this phone is slow compared to other phones
i wasted INR-30000 on this ,in this price i can buy SEw800 and a 5MP digi cam. dont buy this brick.

hey guys, i still haven't removed the plastic film from my screen, i don't want my screen to get scratched. LOL.. anyways, i've used the video call, and it's great, it's much better than a webcam, but it also depends on the signal strength. My friend also bought a n80 cuz she liked mine so much. It's a great phone...

For any Aussies waiting for the N80 to be released locally, be aware that Nokia won't recognise the warranty for an N80 purchased offshore. Furthermore, N80s purchased offshore won't support some localisations which Nokia is making. So I'm continuing to wait for Nokia to release the device locally. The local web-site still says "July 06". Hurry up Nokia!
