i had my n80 with me for abt more than 2 mths and i really find it the most wonderful nokia phone i have and it is more user friendly than my last samsung phone watever i need is all in this small n80 phone when i m bored i can listen to mp3 or fm radio when i need to check email i just take my phone out when i saw something nice i just use my phone to take a picture of it my last stupid samsung phone just cannot connect to the bluetooth printing machine when my son need a pic for his playgroup school but my n80 can just print out by bluetooth on the kodak printing machine as easy as 123. i really cant live without my n80 although it is expensive i pay abt 1150 sg for it but it is really worth it my n80 battery can last abt at least 3 days with the use of wifi sms calls and radio it is not as bad as wat others have said it is a 9.5/10 phone. you dun need to bring a mp3 player a camera a pda and a phone all you need is just a nokia n80

Im returning my N80. I had it after 24h. Can't believe that Nokia gets away with something like this, bad battery, slow menus, crashing, hang ups, reboots, bad "3mp" camera. And very plastic. Doesnt feel robust in you hand. I even had the latest firmware and this is what I have to say.

agile messenger 3rd edition for n80 dose not have the push to talk option to push voice instead of text.only the 6680 or 82 ,this phone has umts ptt alredy but not on msn gsm edge«!»

to switch ,,,have you used the video record function yet is it really grainy???I am going sim free route & going to get black n80 but one of the main features i use is video and want cif resolution.The n93 i suppose is really the video fone but its really to big.I hav s/e w900i at moment and thats big enuf & getting on my nerves becauase of its weight but its a good fone its just it records in 3gp format,i hope n80 is mp4 like ive read. thanx

ok have my n80 for 5 days now! guys the first like 4 charges that it gets dont last too long after that the battery gets better and better i have now officially listened to music for 4 hours with bluetooth on made a call for about an hour and the battery is still going , took it off charge at 8am this morning its currently
23:15pm and i have two bars left so looks like the battery improves over a couple of charges
ill keep you guys informed AMAZING PHONE!!

well 3 weeks on and my n80 works fine,i think people foget just how much phones have moved on over the last few years,just remember how much is cramed into what is still not a lage phone.Here in the uk lots of smartphones are low in price or even free on contract so people are getting one for the first time only to find out that yes,the battery does suffer,they crash, and menus are slow to load.If you have owned one befor nothing new,so think befor you buy,dont knock the n80 which is just the best smartphone ive owned,and on a lighter note snake is just wicked.

Does anyone know how to put the music files ive downloaded through nokia pc suite into the music player, ive only got the songs i got through bluetooth in there and its annoying because i cant have all the songs together..........please help!

it aint jus your phone m8 tis mine too! nokia might hopefully fix it in a new firmware but no fix to date ya jus gona have to try altering settings but thats about it until they do release a new firm and everyone seems to have the same problem soz

i got n n80 recently any the camera is great..BUT...a night the video is really crap..the image is ok but wen takin video..its like it has a 0.3 mega pixel cam instead of 3!!does anyone experiance that problem too?or is it juss ma phone? pls let me knw!

do you know if the o2 network namely o2 online will release the pearl black version?
thanx if anyone can shed any light on this
im waiting for either o2 online (who i currently with or 3g to hopefully release it all in pearl black
come on network providers allow us the choice of both colours :o)

What an amazing bit of kit! HOWEVER, and unless some one out there can tell me otherwise, I am stuck over just one facility on this handset and that is the main reason (communications)I waited so long for the unit.
Email. The Nokia N80 cannot receive emails via the Vodafone network!!!! You get the mail coming in fine and the senders address and in deed the subject BUT you cannot access the message. Vodafone has just told me that they have not as yet sorted out their network to have the N80's receive emails -- can you believe it? Does any one, or even NOKIA have an immediate solution?? HELP..

when in sleeping mode phone power off u have to turn d phone back on

To gemma ur talking rubbish, I work for o2 and the reason we dont have a lot of them are bcos they are expensive and we only have a certain allocation of stock to last a certain time frame. I have the n80 the batt life is fine last me a few days, dont know wot ur onabout mate. ye some phones can have an issue with this but that needs to be looked at as a fault for certain phones right across the board. n80 is the smallest in the n series also it aint that big, compared to wat it ds. if it was that massive n that rubbish i wouldn have kept mine. maybe if u buy one of em toy phones from poundland that might suite u better hun??? ;) :p

Got my n80 yesterday from O2,love it so far, not had any problems, Images are good, sound quality for music is good and it all seems to run smoothly. Does anyone know how to connect to a wireless network, im going to work soon and im sure they have a network set up, want to see what the internet is like on the phone. Someone please let me know!!

My nokia n80 too doesnt have settings under contacts! Is this a glitch? There's no way to set the name viewing. I'm stuck with last name first! Btw, did any of your n80's come loaded with quick office? Mine did so i was wondering if its free with the n80. I also went to the nokia center here in beverly hills, and boy i was so glad i got the nokia n80! I've seen and touched the n90, n91, e70, e60, e61 and theyre all way too huge than the n80! Seriously whoever thinks that n80 is a brick should better get their eyes fixed!

can someone tell me how to put flash files so the flash player can play them?
I tried, but the player says that the file is unknown.......
And where can i download the version of smart movie that is compatible with this phone?

Like JAS3210 said... there's no settings under the options menu in Contacts. I have a European phone, maybe that's why. I even tried looking for it in another n80 but couldnt find it there either.
I tried to updates the firmware (even though mine is the latest one), its the same thing: no settings under Contacts.
I have no idea way its not there!!
