To turn off the icons on the main display go to tools, settings, phone, standby mode and select active standby to off.

On mine, turning off the keypad sounds under profiles does not affect the camera click, it's still there. Is that option in a firmware update or something? I'm still running .14, haven't upgraded it yet...

Seriously, have you guys got nothing better to do than talk about which color mobile phone i should buy. This forum is about conveying useful constructive information for buyers to make an important decision on which mobile they have to use for the next 24 months. Fuctions, features and reliability are priorities over which color i should choose. Please, webmaster choose your feedback in these forum carefully and disreguard the trivial unimportant less techincal problems. These issues should be sorted out by their color consulants not serious mobile phone enthusists.

There is a way to mute the shutter sound for N80!!! Just turn off the keypad sound in the profiles menu!!!

HOw is the n80 speaker system ? isit same wif 6680 ? or n70 ? low quality ringtone ? Tell me more about the quality of the sound .. thank ..

To Vince:
I just got my black one toady, I don't know why it is like a no-brainer for me. I just hated the silver chrome plate on the silver one and I didn't really care if most people have the black one. I think it all depends if you like the chrome plate or not. The chrome plate maybe better than the V551, but it still reminded me of my Old V551 and how I hated the plate.

Hi All
I just got my phone today but I still didnt know how to use it much. I need help of these thing so please help me if you can..
1. How can you change the display on the screen instead of showing those icon all the time on the top of the screen..
2. How can I make the wallpaper moving like animation because I put animation as wallpaper but it doesnt move like the Nokia6270.
3. How can I set screen saver??
Please help me if you can, im really appreciate it.. thanks abunch

Unfortunately u cannot change font size&2 make fone say caller name go 2 Profiles&choose Say caller name,it is as simple as that.Phone is great except for battery life&font size,Ithink it is due to S60 Platform

i need a sign from heaven! i cant choose between black or silver! im attracted to shiny things which makes me wana go for the silver, but alot of people are buying the black and it looks sleek and sophisticated.. anyone please give me a sign... hit me baby one more time!

pc suite is cr*p, u can use drag and drop with n80, just goto data cable app in connect. folder and select DATA TRANSFER, wen u plug into pc it will act just like a off board card reader, and then just drag ur image into the window of the fones folders! so much easyer!

Can someone please show me how to transfer images & video from PC to Nokia N80? There are Transfer Music, Store Images (transfer from the phone to PC) folders and some other folders but I don't see Transfer Images or Video folder in Nokia PC Suite, version 6.8. Thx!

I think the silver one is the stainless steel(front) one. And the black one is plastic
