To all you ppl having "out of memory" problems..
As the warning says, it applies to internal memory and hasn't got anything to do with your xxxGB memory card. I have a 2GB ang was getting the same!
For some reason this phone does a weird thing when installing software from PC (well, mine does anyway). It stores the installation file on the internal memory every time and as a result that memory fills up pretty quickly. SO.. in settings there's a list of installed files, browse the list and find the files that are located on the phone memory (no mem card symbol to the right of the name) and removed them ALL..
Problem solved!
I've sent my phone in because of bad reception so I can't check the exact location of the menu but you should find it in "tools" or "settings" or what ever it's called on english version of sw..

it seems a lot of you" but not all"do not understand or have never used a smartphone before because i can see it in all your questions..Most are really easy answered and not the fones fault..These fones do work in a different way to normal phones hence youre memory questions etc but that said the person who said about symbian phones being nearly all the same i almost agree as my first was the 3650 and most changes especially for me is the ability to play more formats but the 3650 did well for its days & still does & it takes a 4gb mmc card!!! O2 have them but have to fight to get one. Ordered it last week to then be told out of stock til next week or month they don't know etc etc. After a day of conflicting info told them to stuff their contract...and the phone will be with me in 3 days!!! 49.99 on an upgrade. just hope it's worth the effort?? And got a better tariff deal out of them too!!! Carphone warehouse has them...had a play there last week...yeah it's a bit chunky but that's coz it does LOTS!!! All phone stores currently saying it's the best phone on the market at the moment...that's if,like me you can't wait for the N93.

hi, i got my n80 running fine, apart from the wireless network, it asks me to enter a pre shared key , what is the pre shared key, i already put my wep key in, plz help?

Y r u so worried bout downloads, games n sound. Its a good fone. If you want all dat rubbish get a PC or Mac u sadsters.

the phone shows 'delete memory' cos the internal memory is full though u ve enough on ur card

hello, i just want to post my opinion. i have had all the nokia smart phones, since 3660, to my n70, i have a friend that have the nokia n80, is ok, but it have the same things that have my n70, it have better the camera, screen, sound(not big diferent),and have wifi. i just tired of nokia, but i cant live without a smart phone... but i find a solution, qtek 9600, or se p990. if you are tired too, this are two of the best solution.

Btw, jz got my N80's firmware upgraded this noon, GREAT!!!! NO MORE PROBLEMS!! MUACK MUACK!!

what is that firmware upgrade for and what does it do? btw, can anyone tell me if that fone has a prob if i insert a 1-2 gb of mini sd into it? and as ADFX-01 mentioned..i'm also curious to know how the flash works, is it on the whole time..or flash RIGHT when u click the take picture button? thx to whoever answers my questions.

I got this phone like last week.
And its great.
I just want to know where I can the friemware update for this fone?
And I would like to know how to switch between the T3 Dictionary.How to switch on and off the T3 Dictionary. The Chinese-English dictionary is great. I think it is only available in the Singapore.

Hot swap memory is where you can take out the memory card and put it back in while the phone is on. If the phone was not hot swap you would have to turn the phone off first.
I cant comment on the picture quailty yet as I don't have an N80, only a matter of time though :)
I do know the W800i takes pretty good shots though.

Hey can anyone tell me what is hot swap memory? and is the flash similar to a normal camera or like w800i where u have to turn on the whole time in order to use the flash?

i've bought N80 last week...this fone is great!...picture & video resolution fantastic for 3Mp...good sound quality....battery ok....easy to use....stylish....only the problem with the upper keypad and don't have camera cover at tha back....
lastly this fone must have....or just wait 8 more months 4 N83....

N80, N90 or N91? what should i go for? Nokia N90 has the great lenses that take amazing videos and photos... N91 has 4Gb and N80 has a huge screen and 3.2megapixels but not like N90. Plsss tell me! I'm in such a dillema..
