hey guys, been using n80 for about 4 weeks. size and camera are great. music can really be heard even in a noisy place. but the processor speed is kinda slow. but its okay. battery not so good. i even bought a crystal case so the housing wont get scratched. 1-10, i would have to rate this as an 8.

im not yet decided what to buy, whether the N91 or this N80, N91 lacks the second camera for the 3G so you have to buy the cradle. does N80 have the 3.5 mm jack headphones like the N91 or can i use other headphone for the N80 like what u can do with the N91?
                please advice..
                thanks

Very dissapointed. I thought I'm going for the best phone available on the market. The first impression I got was how thick it was. It's not a slim as it looks on the nokia pics on their website of in their catalogues. SO i still decided to try it out I jsut can't manage to copy my messages over from my old nokia. And the worst of is can anybody tell me what is a phone that has all the features but the battery last barely a day. It's still supposed to be a phone and not just a camera with a flat battery when you are standing in the middle of nowhere with a broken down car. Sorry to say nokia but I'm very dissapointed. This is almost like Ferari that just can't manage to beat the renault at the F1

Just got an N80 last week. It has a great display, is a good music player (even though the headphone volume is low) and has a fantastic browser. However, the battery life is pathetic (today it lasted less than 12 hours with 30 mins of MP3 and otherwise low usage) and the keys do not stay locked in my pocket because the slider moves slightly and this automatically takes the keylock off. Good job it was free otherwise I'd be disappointed.

Well I'm back again with an update for you all! In my first review I said I was so far impressed with the phone but it had it's glitches and I wouldn't be surprised if I ended up having 6 of these in the first year! I WAS RIGHT!!! After only 22 days, I couldn't get on the WAP, my gallery photo's had all vanished of thier own accord, it had frozen up 4 times, I lost count of how many times it rebooted itself, and the final nail in it's coffin was when the red phone key decided it didn't want to work anymore, meaning I couldn't hang up on any phone calls!! I rang Orange and I received N80 number 2 the same day (last Friday) great service from them and no complaints at all! Now for the good bit (yes really, there is one!). I took this phone with me to see Bon Jovi at Milton Keynes on Saturday, and it was the only recording equipment I took. I can honestly say I was blown away by it's performance!!!! On the 128 memory card, I got nearly 70 pictures at 3mp resolution, and about 20 mins of video! Sure, the video isn't dvd quality, but I never expected it to be and I'm more than happy with the results, which I've safely transferred to my pc. The photo's have come out amazingly well, even the ones taken on maximum zoom, and when I've printed these off, I can only knock it for losing some colour quality and looking a little (honestly!) blurry, but like I said, they were on maximum zoom, so I still have no complaints! This little phone did the job brilliantly and I honestly wouldn't swap it for anything else available right now. Yes, the N93 will have optical zoom which is fabulous, but it will also be a lot bigger. If I end up having to claim a replacement every month for the next year, I am of the opinion that I don't care! For what it can do, it's worth it to me! I will be upgrading the memory card to either a 1 or 2 gb card, but other than that, I won't be tampering with it in any way. The Orange software can stay for all I care, I find Orange as a company incredibly friendly and helpful and I wouldn't leave them! Well, I've said my bit (and what a big bit it was!)now it's up to you to make up your own minds!
