I got my n80 last Friday and overall great phone only complaint is that the battery is CRAP, seriously thinking about sending phone back.

Guys!!stop saying the cam is crap. First, check the photo size option to the highest. Next, make sure ur cam is not in macro mode!!!which mean switch the button near the camera lens away from the "flower" sign!

People on O2, I rang O2 direct this morning asking for my pac code and they told me the phone won't be available until end of June now. Even though you can order the phone online apparently O2 direct are still testing the phones and they said the phones you order online are not tested! What a load of B******! I'm now switching to Orange!

Calm down dude. IMO, N80 = Camera - AF - Optical Zoom + PDA - Touchscreen + Phone, which is an 'all-in-one' phone. Try to get those three and see if it's as small OR as cheap as the N80 is.

N80 is the most terrible blunder i hav done n buying one.It is only a cell but the price against gadgets incld is fluke. I can buy seprate nikon 5 MP cam with 1GB storage,a 2 MP mobile K750i Se extra 1GB card mem and still save some money to shop around.We r getng hypnotized by new models every day instead even same sofware slight cosmetic change same dito design for JUST A CELL.If we hav PATIENCE same N80 upgraded get cheaper after 3 months.Heavens is not going to fall u can still get call from existing sets.PLS think all of u on forum BRATS

To aaa,
the blue light blinking was nothing to do with ur bluetooth, its actually indicate ur phone under 'Sleep Mode' but its powered on, purpose is to save battery power.
to deactivate the indication(blue light blinking)-> goto 'Tools', 'Settings', 'Phone', 'Display', 'Sleep Mode', select 'Off'

Hi,
Has anyone been having issues with the signal strength on this phone...cause I just bought it, havent faces any issues other than.. the signal being too weak or non existant many times..

1)hey, is really dificult to write a mensage?
2)are really the top keys hard to use, you know the number 1,2,3. or the menu key?
3)the cellphone can get open in your poket if you are walking, running or something like that?
4)what do you say, buy this phone, or wait for another???

if ur music isnt very loud then open equalizer and make a new preset, put all 5 bands near the top (play around till u get gud loud sound) and then select back then activate, u gotta use gud quality mp3s tho coz will sound distorted!

I am using one rite now, it's quite impressive.
It's just a bit thick but the overall size is smaller than N70 or so...it's ok for me.

3 network has announced that the N80 will be available in there high st stores from 16th June onwards. Looks abit thick in size can anyone confirm this, cheers.

i just ordered it on o2 direct, they tried and tried to fob me off, if you threaten to leave they miraculously say its in stock, phone the cancelations department and say your sick of been messed around, then they give u the n80, mine is on its way to me now

Hi,
Just bought this phone..did so after a lot of research..camera is gd, UPNP is amazing, battery life not so bad, but the signal strenght is really horrible... the gadetry works fine but it nt performing the main function of a phone?? I tried the SIM in a diffrent phone.. works perfectly, is there something I'am missing, USING GSM in India..
keep getting connection errors... already fiddled with the network settings, set it to GSM only.. please any suggestions... cause I really dnt want to have to return this phone... and a couple more things... how do I find the firmware version?
and if I take this phone from India to the States will it still work.. cause I'm very sceptical now...
guys any advice/help...

O2 Direct have it on there website now for £99.99
Just phoned them about an upgrade, and they are still saying th 16th of June for that.

The phone is not very availlable to buy except through the internet where you come up against impossible security issues. When would we be able to walk into a phoneshop and buy one? All of them say " sorry we dont have it yet" or give you endless promises of when they will have it but always never do!Does anyone know when 3 network will get this phone?

just got my n80 on orange and its a great phone camera sound everything is really god quality, but does anybody know if there is a higher capacity battery you can get for it
cant understand those that dont like it, never mind everyone for there own but stop using the forum to fight on

N80 has lost its craze,brick like ,video poor,no aoto focus,batt daily charge,flash underlite and worse upgrading to latest FirmwareRm-92 dpv12.0 MCU Sw 3.0617.0.6 is tedious ,why Nokia people think us to be electronic engineers.Impartially i still prefer 6280 maybe by 3rd qtr firmware be upgraded.ad price stablized at 350us$.But then SE K800 W850 would be vogue---------
