hello. did you know that you can change the battery of the n80 whit the battery of a 7610. or 6680. or 6630..... because they all are 3.7V. the difference is the capacity, not the intensity.
*Battery:
N80: 820 mAh
n7610:900 mAh

go for the n80. it has a better camera, it is smaller and prettier to. the n91 is massive

I forgot to mention that since this a Symbian OS, then there will be applications that improve the software and makes things easier for users, * corrected speeling, No 3-D sound *

AMAZING FONE, BUY IT, Price is becoming better, Amazing Camera, Amazing Sound, Amazing Wifi, amazing Nokia.... Couple of problems though, 1.Light sensor is weak and not as strong as N91, When fone is closed and not sild open, rattling sound or loose sound like theres a screw lose, Message ringtone is set if songs are saved on Fone memory ( thats if u want MP3 message tone ), no 3-Sound, Slow Starting up, Images taken from Camera seem to be shaky @ times, makes Autfocus fones looks 100 times better, Battery Life is horrible seriously low and seems to finish quickly after a long charge. Camera lens is likely to be scratched easily, thats a bad 1.....other than that its a good fone N-series Best release so far, I'd stick to this if u wanted a goof Nokia fone. N93 has major problems, Not sure what, Tests were bad, hopefully updates will come on the current situation of N93 will be posted........THNX

N 83 is out in Q1 2007. Fantastic phone. For now, I have bought N80 and can't wait till N83 is released. Then I'll give my N80 to my girlfriend.
Best part of N83 is its slimness and of course 4 GB drive :)

"Laughing all the way", that's y people like u are liked by Nokia. Buy extra battery? Kind of stupid. An highly priced phone need more battery........ while a cheaper/average phone needs only 1 phone. I think u need to think logically, what's right n what's wrong, instead of banging on money issue where people cannot afford etc.... Anyway, u are just a dumb buyer. Smart people don't act the way u did, haaha

People always complained and complained about the battery...
For me, I bought an additional batteru for my N80 and it's quite cheap only S$38 from Nokia shop, maybe even cheaper outside...
What's the big problem, if can afford such an expensive phone but cannot buy an extra battery, it makes me laugh...

Have u really own or used 6280? I'm shocked that u said the sliding mechanism 6280 better than N80...
I have owned the 6280 and it's really flimsy and make of cheaper material compared to N series models. If the sliding are too soft, then chances of the whole piece will fall off very quickly. N80 has a very refined build quality. I admit it's not the best phone but at least don't compared to the more inferior 6280 and it makes me laugh...

Nokia N80 sliding mechanism is lousy compared to nokia 6280. Too stiff. Ended up u have to use 2 hands to slide it easily instead of one hand like nokia 6280. As known, this is Nokia stratey, not having the best in everything in a single phone so that u will constantly feel the need to upgrade to a new nokia phone.

hi. i have to tell that i was crazy for this phone, but i open my eyes and see that this is not a...lets say... hi class phone
1)the batery is......not good
2)the screen resolution can be the best, can have all the colors of the universe, but is small for all the features, and for the web surfing.
3)really i don't care about the sliding mechanism
4)the buttons of menu and multimedia, that are very important, are too small.
5)the camera can be better but for me is ok, but the led... wy don't use ones like sony ericsson, that can be use for video too
6)the sound of the camera can't be turn off. but whit the SExplorer you can go to the system folder and change the audio file for other without sound or something like that.
conclussions: for me this is a good cellphone, but have a lot of drawbacks,
i'm going to wait for nokia n83

yep this phone rocks! then again i see people talking about bugs that doesn't exist... don't believe everything you read, test the things yourself, for me my n80 never restarted or anything!

Anyone who is asking for money transfer is a SCAM! Pay only through Paypal. Scammer don't accept it.
Also, I figured out the WLAn issue. It's working perfectly fine now. If anyone needs steps to connect let me know, I'll email you.
N80 is a good phone but not the best. Battery life is poor even with only GSM ON and Search for WLAN set to Never.
The biggest drawback of this phone is the same as Nokia 7610. Voice is not that loud. I don't know why Nokia forgets the fact that after all, It's a Phone first.I am kind of disappointed. Voice is much clear and loud in other phones like 7250 and even 3350.
