hey every1 , please feel free to email me with ur questions and what not, seriously nethin u want I can help u with,,, btw ppl askin bout the 2Gb card, yes it does work on the N80, althought fone tends to slow down just a bit, its not bad but still. Neway 7610 and 6600, use BL5C this doesnt so how can u put it in?

I left O2 direct cause they kept putting the release date back, Im now on O2 through the carphonewarehouse so i get to keep the same number & stay on O2 & was also able to get the Black N80 Which O2 are not doing (they are only doing it in silver), ordered the phone on friday & it turned up on saturday!
Couldnt be arsed to hang around waiting for O2 to put a welcome screen & some crap wallpapers on their phones!

N80 Back dated to 16th of June on O2!!!!
Just got off the phone to O2 direct, through the upgrade number. Only to be told its been back dated to the 16th of June! Great. Maybe i should just go back to orange!!!!!!!!!

Finally got my Black Nokia N80, Loving it so far, Charged it up on saturday & its only used one block of battery power (have set network to GSM Only & set the Wi-Fi to Never).
Just ordered a 2GB Scandisk Ultra Mini SD memory card, does anyone know if it will work in the N80? Nokia say it only supports 1Gb cards but i have read reviews about people using 2Gb cards, anyone got any advise?
Also when upgrading the Firmware can someone tell me if it wipes the memory of the phone (shall i back up everything before-hand) or does it just upgrade the firmware?

P.S. I don't understand why people keep slagging this phone off, im really pleased with it so far!!!

To US Cingular blu/orange gsm users:
Can anyone explain to me what the difference is between a ATT Sim card and a Cingular Sim card and if a sim card has anything to do with the signal strength. Thanks for the infos.

hey guys at Nokia plzz.. start giving memory for atleast "1GB to 5GB" with USB support plz.. stop this outdated 64MB & 128MB, size is sameits time to change.

The most IMPORTANT spec that I would like to highlight to all Nokia fan. Nokia phone does NOT come with "xenon flash" so u can't take clear picture at low light (at night), LCD flash far more dim compare to xenon flash. Trust me, go for Sony Ericsson (K800).

Been waiting what seems like months for this phone from O2 what with all the delays
Phoned up today for it (as an upgrade) only to be told "the release date is week commencing 5th June...could be anytime!"
Just thought I'd let all the other frustrated O2 contract customers know

Had my N80 4 3 weeks now and could not be happier. Certainly the best phone on the market! WLAN is superb, bluetooth handsfree in car is great, put a 2GB sd card in to store some music and find the music quality way better than the one on my i Pod. I am happy with the battery life. I listen to music 4 about an hour a day, make several phone calls, surf the net, play with the images and still have about 3 bars of battery left by the end of the day. I always charge it overnight tho. Minus points are the not so nice slider (cos I used to have a D500 which is the best slider ever) and the fact that the camera lens is not well protected and gets dirty easily. Some of the software could be improved, but then I bought an early version, so I didn't expect it to be perfect.

before this i'm using symbian phone starting from 7650, 6600, 3230, N70 and now N80.
As you all know we can insert symbian software in order to get extra function for example, auto keylock, advance camera, alarm manager (with repeated function), and many more. I'm not sure when this new symbian ver 9.0 will developed for the smartphone.

the slider its going loose already? what di you did with it? did u drop or played with it? its almost impossible its like that so soon.
those worried about the battery life. they are several things you can do to prolong
1. turn off the search of the dualmode wcdma signal
2. turn off wifi
3. set to screen brightness to less.
like that i am getting 2 days and a half on live when i use wifi well a full day but at next day midday its begging for charge. awesome phone totally recommended

i've got this phone for about 2 weeks now, i find the slide of this phone is getting loose, i thought i paid this amount of money the phone should be of good quality, also the video quality is bad, not match the phone's price also, other features of the phone is good, overall, if i had the chance to buy again, i would not buy it

The n91 is specially made as a mp3 player, but the n80 is made for everything a little bit. Witch thing do you want more, a mp3 player or a liitle of camera mp3 player computer etc. etc. etc.
