All of the N80's that I have found for sale are Asia/Pacific sourced. Where can I find one UK sourced so that all of the software/instructions are in English?

I got my n80 two days ago and its amazing! way better than any phone available in the states. the stabilization feature kind of messes up the video, but everything else is great! by the way, i'm writing this on my n80 right now!!!

Just received my n80. While placing the sim in the spring holder, the holder came loose. I snapped the bracket back into the holes. The problem is, the battery, when installed, will not press the sim holder down far enough to make a proper connection. When I place a small piece of paper on top of the bracket, then install the battery, connection is made no prob. Has anyone else had this issue?

Has any1 got a converted MP$ video (ie a whole film) onto the N80, if so what software did you use to create the MP4? Ive tried a few (ImToo, Nero 7 Recode, ATI Catalyst AVIVO) and no of the files work? when i select a file it opens Real Player and then just freezes on that screen, common prob or just my duff N80?

j-man,
For GSM, the phone should work in any where. But for UMTS, it is WCDMA2100 in Europe and WCDMA1900/WCDMA850 in US. So if you buy a US verion of N80, the GSM works in Europe, but UMTS does not.

j-man,
Well, this thingie has quad-band+UMTS, so it quite much supports all networks.
And if it is sold there then I suppose it works there.

It doesn't look like you can turn off the shutter sound. I disabled the keypad tones like KEN suggested in the profile personalization (it is not under phone settings) and it does not help. The shutter still sounds.

I just got the phone yesterday. In the beginning for some reason didn't think it was all that because of the look it has. The slider is ok. But once started checking out the features,, it just blew my mind. I traded it my N91 for it. The N91 has the memory ok, but ITS BIG! Might as well walk around with your house phone. lolz. Anyway,, GREAT PHONE! I give it 2 Thumbs up. WIFI Is crazy, Web browser is the best I've had. Tried the JASJAR, T-mobile MDA, and most of the blackberry s but this thing is the best. Definitely something I would recommend, and I am very picky with these things. Anyone reading this and thinking about if you get it or not. Go ahead and get it.
