The Keypad?
I am thinking that the person that did the review on this N80 had very big fingers because I have no problem accessing the 1,2,3 buttons at all... and my fingers aint small either!

      Hi everybody,

Hey guys check out the mind blowing review of Nokia N93. They have compared the cameras of worlds best camera phones. I mean N93, N80 and K800!!!. I saw the pictures and N93 has the best results. While second is K800 and third is N80. But K800 manages the sky best. That's what I think. But maybe u guys will also notice the same thing. Hey but that's not all! you can see for ur self by clicking on the link below:

      http://www.mobile-review.com/review/nokia-n93-cam-en.shtml

And about N80 it's just an all roundup phone for me. It has everything I need. Good camera, good sound quality, brilliant display, normal size. Yes but I was disappointed by it's slider. I think 6280 and 6270 had a better slider. But, it is the best in its class. But not price, its way high. Thats all i wanted to say. Bye!!!

        Hi Everyone...
I got the N80 in Black yesterday and to be honest I am a little disapointed in the phone and think that it lacks some multimedia aspects due to the price that I paid for it.

For some reason the WLAN is SOO slow and not as fast as it functions on my Laptop or i-Mate jasjar, However the browser it far better than any other I have seen and sure blows PSP's browser away.

        The Keypad?
I am thinking that the person that did the review on this N80 had very big fingers because I have no problem accessing the 1,2,3 buttons at all... and my fingers aint small either!

The Media player could still do with some work... the music is loud but not as clear as my old SE W900i and does not run as easy

        Camera
I am yet to try the camera in the daylight but when I took some photos inside the quality was not anything to write home about! I will have to give it a try outside in the garden or something.

        Big Dimentions?
This phone is very very small than it looks, when you see a photo of this phone in someones hands on the computer i think that it looks kinda big... but beware this is quite a small bugger! with a decent kaypad and a very very nice LCD

All up I am stil not 100% happy with my Nokia N80 so I have listed it for sale... I will try the Nokia N91 after this and then proberly go back to the trusty Nokia 6680

        Thanks Timmy

I have this phone in the US, I am located in Maryland. I have AT&T and Cingular. The phone works perfectly, I have good reception almost every where I go. I had the razor before this, and the quadband is similar reception wise. I have had this phone for about 2 and a half weeks.

Hi to everyone, can anyone tell me if this phone is 3G ready, means you can already activate the UMTS mode by not choosing the dual mode and look for a 3G signal, like N90. It's 3G ready.
                    Thanks

I am looking to get the Sony Ericsson W810, I have the K750i. Someone suggested that I should try Nokia again and the N80 is really good - I need advice as I've never used a nokia for years.

Hi, in my opinion, nokia done well by releasing this phone before K800i which supposed to be the only phone that can beat n80.Sony Ericsson should release thier W950 and K800 as soon as possible.
I have read that TIPA (Technical Image Press Association) have chosen Nokia N80 as "Best Mobile Imaging Device 2006" and this is the result of being very slow in releasing your products "sony ericsson".

John from the States. You'll want to wait until Nokia finishes adding the 850 mhz bans of the high spped bands. Nokia sent a model without the 850 band (high speed band, not regular GSM) Once Cingulat adds it to the phone, Cingulat will start selling it in the states. Any N80 you buy from anyone today, doesn't have that band available, and it's noy something you just update the firmware to get. The guts of the phone itself has to be changed.

If you go to Nokia USA, and to the N80 page, the first small print exlains all this.

Ombe again we in the states get the I don't carem I don't care from our service providers. They'd be out of budiness within months in just about any other country.

The states akways have, and always will get crappy phones for their networks, and a few steps befing in technology.

"GEEK HEADS UNITE TO TREAT THE US LIKE THE REST OF THE WORLS......AT LEAST.

hOW CAN YOU TAKE THE NUMBER ONE MARKET IN THE WORLD, AND YEAR AFTER YEAR, THROW IT AWAY?

I was only afraid of N80's battery. Having used hard the phone for about 6 days in a row (switching it off only 2 nights) I still have 3 out of 7 bars of battery left. So the battery is perfect, DONT hear what people say here. Most of them havent even seen the N80 yet with their eyes!

Muahaha stainless steel has come back into stock and guess what! Yep it carries a cheaper price tag than the pearl black version! A far cry from the initial release where the silver version cost $130 in excessof the black version.

Trust me pearl black looks nicer. Silver just looks too darn heavy and yellowish.
