This is a kick-arse phone.
Having this phone as my prior phone.
my 2 cents,compare to n80,k800 is nothing,this is a new state-of-the-art wi-fi compatible phone
roxx!!!

Got this phone from Orange yesterday - it really is fantastic - realy, quite brilliant. Build quality is superb - not sure yet how the battery is going to fare.. Binned my V3x as it was really dreadful, cheap along with miserable battery life - the N80 is in the next league compared with the Motorola - buy it - it's the best thing on the market today.

Hello everyone,
I have just purchased this phone and it is amazing. Although the speakers are not as good as the 3250's they are still amazing. This phone has everything that you can emagine, but using the phone as much as i do drains the battery. So, you will have to charge it every night unless you want a screwed up phone. The video confrencing is amazing, and not to mention the 3.23 Megapixel camera! this phone tops any other phone in the market

to mlpm,
i think you also have 15 pockets on your coat to carry all this amazing technology along with you, mobile browser, camera, mp3 player etc etc...
this is not a place to say this phone is crapper than a 5mp digi cam... of course its not better than a stand alone camera or a PDA or an IPOD, we all know this. But this is a smartphone with capabilities of all those things.
if you dont want to buy it then fair enough, its your choice, no one is forcing you.
Oh BTW your a muppit and no one cares if your from Finland.

Some N80s have already been sold in Finland too. But there's shortage of these phones now.
And many have bought this phone beforehand, so the phone shops are delivering those first and due to the shortage of getting these on sale, it may take for a while them to become awailable in shops ; )
But in personal view I think that this N80 is like Microsofts every new Windows, so "The best Nokia ever" - so still with lots of disadvantages and limitations ; )
I won't buy this phone bcause I allready have had for several years
- a digital camera with 5mp, autofocus ...
- mp3 player with radio and recording ability (with mp3 encoding) ...
- mobile web browser with display big enough to really browse ordinary web pages not needing to have eagle eye to see them ; )
. . .
And btw I'm from Finland ; )

You can use eMSNlite, it's a free download, i've just put it on mine and it works. It's a cross between normal MSN messenger and SMS messaging. But seems to be pretty good. Heres the link:-

There is a program on this called IM (instant messanger) go to my own and look for IM that is you messenger and you can use your wlan to chat to others

Just got mine the camera is perfect crisp music player heavy duty computing wlan is good fast internet upnp is a privalidge to have exelent phone 10/10 keeps you entertained wherever you go its my best friend.

Theres no FF and RW for viewing video recordings or mp3s WTF
there is for MP£ keep hold of next track or rpevius track.
i cant find 1 for video's that stinks

had this phone for 3 days now. so far so good. it's not that big, it's small but a little fat. 1 2 and 3 on the keypad doesn't bother me when typing a message. nokia pc suit for n80 is hot. you can totally enhance your pictures. when you close the slider, the phone always asks if you wanna lock the keypad. and you can also put a code for kepad lock.

Orange at last have just let us have the original manual from nokia instead or wasteing time printing there own manual,Vodafone as not messed about with the N80 so stop worrying about that,people always seem to show bad opinions about mobiles putting people off getting a mobile,just sign a new contract with a new network an try the phone out you then can make your own decision wether to get the phone or take it back an cancel the contract i used the N80 an its the best Nokias made for ages an i am glad i got it an you others should like it too i am sure

Ok, seems like many people already bought the nokia n80 phone. For those people who cares where the phone was made I have something to tell you... When they finally released the nokia n80 the first few months ago the n80 where released originally from China. I'm no racist or anything but the n80 from finland hasn't released yet... It will take few more weeks for the real nokia n80 to be released that are made in finland. I owned this phone a long time ago when one of my very good friend (connection) gave me his prototype black nokia n80. I'm very satisfied with my phone.
Beware of those fake phones that are sticker labeled made by nokia or made in finland when they are really made in china. The ones who bought the nokia n80 right away could be ripped off thinking that they got the original ones.
I don't want to reveal much about what i know but i'll give you guys a hint about how to check if the phones are really made in finland (original) its got something to do with IMEI numbers you can, you can ask your salesperson who works at cell phone stores where you bought your phone.
