got the N80 last Saturday.. got it for 30.7K pesos or roughly US$590.. this is one superb phone.. cam is perfect as well as video.. sound is great (although i wasnt so thrilled with the supplied headset).. the phone's not that big and heavy as what others have stated in their posts.. it's quite ok actually.. haven't explored the phone that much yet but i'll get to it in the coming days.. oh, btw, i bought the black one.. the silver looks like a cheap metal can.. one thing i don't like about the fone is it's a little hard to press the bottom row of the keypad (*,0,#).. if you're not careful, the phone can easily slip off your grip (except of course if you have a small hand).. all in all, this phone rockz!

My local carphone warehouse had 6 N80's on o2 when I went in yesterday, but I was looking for one on 3 which nowhere seem to have yet, any ideas about 3 anybody.

is anyone having problem with using '.wma' files on the nokia software for the pc. It doesnt support it but if you send a wma song to the phone by infra red it will play it but not add it to the media library.. very strange!?!!. very annoying. if anyone can help me.. (ps i dnt want my collection to .mp3 cos it will take ages). thank guys.

I got this about a week ago, happy with the phone size etc camera blah blah, havent tried the wifi yet with the internet explorer, to those who have tried it...does it work well?...is it fast or slow?

N80 was an envy before,Now it is reality No auto Focus poor clozups no major diff of MP3 Video is very hopless. Weight is lke Brick ur trousers pockets hang down if kept for som time.The wcdma,wlan,3G a not available so why i paid for them !.First version is full of bugs,hangs ad no sofware existing 60 series compatible.Result since 7th may i hav lost 300$ from buying price then.Nokia only u hav minted money at the cost of innocent people all over World.Guys Lookout till aft six month N83 is diffinately released with all major size, sofware weight batterylife is corrected.Till Yhen

To the person who said the 'Real' N80 is from Finland and those manufactured in China are ripped off, Here is some news for you: If you rip open your phone, and have alook at the main Cricuit board, you will see 'Make in China' printed on it. Yes, even if you buy the 'Real' N80. they are mostly made and assembled in China. All gone thru the same QA process defined by Nokia.
Now, back to the main topic. Got this 3 days ago, got the 'Made in China' version, but it works just fine. WiFi however could use some improvment. it constantly drops off from my Netgear AP which is only 2 rooms away :( otherwise, I'm loving it.

but thats with all companies ALL OF THEM HAVE LIMITATIONS. right now NOKIA is the only one innovating. SE still its quite of good mixing things but then again they have their limitations they haven't bring anything new to the market in a while! still their mp3 and cameras are quite a top notch next to nokias. (even thought the n93 will change that for some time)so saying this phone its crap its kind of unfair. knowing this phone have no competition right now. feature connectivy and its a top in quality =)

I am really interested in buying this phone , but i wanna know more about its speaker if it is stereo or not? its shape is really fantastic.also some people had told me that it makes many problems & n70 is bitter than it. can any one help me in my choice?

sorry i dont want to get into a flame war, but i did find it amusing that mIpm had to mention that he had a digital camera that featured 5mp image res, but also.....wait for it......a camera with autofocus!!!!

I could go out today and get this phone in the UK on Vodafone, o2 or Orange but I wanted it on 3. Anyone out there got any idea when the N80 will be available on 3. Come on 3 get with it.
