the phone looks good but the the video is the lag.compared it with my 6630 and the 6630 is better quality but i am going to buy it anyways.

I just bought it for $620, that is the lowest I have seen, for non-contract and sim-less. This is also through a legit seller.

I am disapointed that the N80 is shipped with Bluetooth 1.2 and not 2.0 as announced originally. Can't use my BT stereo headset.
Does anyone now if a future firmware upgrade will be able to upgrade BT to 2.0?

A symbian phone (N80) cannot be compared to a fixed function phone like the samsung D500/D600 phones.
The N80 has almost limitless functionality (hardware being the only limiting factor), D500/600 are fixed function phones what you buy is what you get, you cant add extra functionality based on what your lifestyle and needs. With the s60 N80, you can customize it to do exactly what you want.
Besides, anyone remember the Nokia phone from the first Matrix movie... I think that was the first slide phone, or do you remember the 7650... looks like Samsung have been doing some copying....

In my country m96f would be treated kindly for helping and he is right to say what he says.

This is a good review forum.
In my contry we respect the helpful m96f has rights to say what he needs to. BUT he is a disgrace if what you all say is true abot him making up it all. I would be upset too.

i juz got my N80 fix from dealer due to start up failure... and 2days after dat i encounter another problem... the switch on button does not work completely... n i tried to remove the battery and once i inserting the battery.. then the phone automatically switch on without pressing the button...n now i hav to send it back to the dealer.... could it be a defective product???

Has anyone tried disabling all the various connections to determine if there's better battery life on the N80?
Eg. Disable wifi / bluetooth / infra-red. Etc. As most of these comms chew up battery like no tomorrow.

hey peps, i quite like this phone, the only thing im nt too sure bout i s the size, reminds me of the horrible 7650... anyway, i like the n91 even more 'cos of its music function. So the question is, which one should i get as both are due on o2 later this month. What are the pros and cons of each the n80 and n91.
