Note that "refurbished" electrical items might come WITHOUT a box/instruction manual OR accessories.

A "refurbished" could be one of many things, but it basically means it is secondhand/B-stock.

In terms of a phone, it could be where someone has returned a phone because they didnt like it. The shop cant re-sell it cos all the packaging has been opened. It is then sent back to the manafucturer to be "refurbished" (repackaged).

Another example would be if the box got damaged. It would be sent back to the manufacturer to be reboxed and thus "refurbished".

Or a marginally used phone that is tested to see if it still works 100%. If it works fine and if there are only marginal cosmetic marks, etc - it can be resold as "refurbished".

          Hope this helps.

he is rigth, and the camera off the n93 is better. The n80 has no autofocus, which it wont be aibel to make very good pics.

Yeah it's a bit chunky, but as a man with big hands the N80 suits me. The other benifit is that the the prols/chavs/lower social orders/schoolbrats won't buy one. They line up in droves to buy Samsungs, SEs and those thin Motos.
That's the beauty of free choice, I can distance myself from the type of people who swallow everything they are told and struggle getting on with those who dare to have a different perspective. Live and let live. If you want an SE, get one and then p*ss off!
                  All the best...

Looks like m9F6 has finally realized that the N80 is indeed, the best phone out there.
                    Excellent work, CMV! :)

I lol'ed at that comment, not to say that I agree with it to a large extent . But still, do respect the fact that this is an online discussion mini-forum, try not to be too harsh on your choice of words.

In a nutshell, I do acknowledge that the N80 has flaws, and K800 and N73 have certain advantageous, but that doesn't make the former inferior to the latter ones. I didn't say the N80 was perfect, or any thing of that sort.

Louis_Loh - Oh, thankyou for such wise wisdom old man. Such intuitive advice. Thank you.

"It's one's own right to decide whether the N80 is a waste of their money or not, agree?"

Yes. I completely agree. Thats why, if you had actioned "De Bono's Six Thinking Hat's" yourself, you might have noticed the part in my previous post where i stated "If you want this phone, then buy it."

But hey, we arent all perfect. Just ask De bono.

And yes, perhaps my comments are 'slightly' negative, but then they are also FACT.

Its unfortunate that an idealist like you, and with such an obviously 'large' amount of intellect, has overlooked the part where positivity creeps into idealism and NEGATIVITY crosses into REALISM.

To solve all the problems, you can easily put "IMO" in front of all your comments. Because, "N73 is better than N80" is your opinion, not others'. It's okay if it's a common consensus, but the N73 is not even out. Please remember to include "IMO" or "personally," in front of your comments.

It's a free country, thank god you've said that yourself. It's one's own right to decide whether the N80 is a waste of their money or not, agree? Even if you are allowed to post, please post APPROPRIATELY. There are so many sub-discussion forums here, in fact every phone as one, why don't you excercise part of your EQ and MQ before posting such negative comments? Some advice from me, go read up on de bono's six thinking hats, and that would probably curb all your rattling on ONE side of the story.

Louis_Loh - sure, thanks for that dad.

I did originally want this phone, and if i really want to, i could get it for £40 on contract. But im not stupid enough to waste my money on it.

If a phone is OVER a certain thickness, then i dont consider it. The features of the N80 sound great, but when i read reviews saying the camera was'nt very good and the battery life was very under-par i had serious second thoughts.

Then when i heard the price of this thing, it was the final nail in the coffin.

Everyone is allowed to share their opinion, its a free country. Louis_Loh is beginning to sound like a fanatical Muslim.

If you want this phone, then buy it. All i am saying is, do your research, read some reviews and then come to a conclusion, because i did. There are better phones coming out in the next few months which are not only more worth it (better phones), they are also far mroe cheaper.

And whats wrong with telling people NOT to make a mistake in buying this overpriced and flawed phone? If you want Wi-Fi, dont mind an 'under-par' camera, dont mind charging the battery every day or having less than 2hrs talk time/40 mins Wi-Fi on a fully charged, NEW battery and dont mind wasting your money, then buy the N-Chunk.

If you want a BETTER phone that doesnt come with Wi-Fi and is cheaper/smaller, then get the N73.

If you want a BETTER phone that doesnt come with Wi-Fi/Symbian and is cheaper/smaller, then get the SE K800.

Okay, to say that something is thick, you need to have something thin. Since Razr is thin, and our friend, cmv, personally thinks that the N80 is comparitively not-so-thick, let it be. It's his own subjective view. There are many other reviews that say that its thickness is just an illusion due to the short length. Why don't you refer to these reviews? Obviously you haven't understood this phone. It's one's own personal perspective as to whether an object is fat or thin, ugly or beautiful et cetera, so, you shouldn't make use of the 26mm as an excuse to start disuading people from buying the phone. Again, if you want use to buy other phones, post your comments in the discussion forums of those phones. People who post here are mostly interested in the phone or want to know more about it, of course, with the exception of people like you, trying to discourage people from buying it by listing out all the possible cons present, ignoring all the pros.
