N73 is a 3G phone, actually all Nseries models are.

that was excatly said by the provious person...never go for a phone with specifications on paper go to the dealer work on the phone and see atleast the basic or essential features work well...
this ia damn good manly phone...
this is MASCULINE....
i think NOKIA will consider increaisng the battery life and release another model..of N80version 1 (N80-1) as N80-2 or N80-3...

Was reading about the 2 comment on the thickness and 1st thing that came to my mind is that this is a MAN's phone... not some sissy thin phone with super small buttons which you need fingernails to press (and a real man don't have finger nails extending out beyond the tip of the finger).
Anyway, I looked at my 6260 specs which is already a man size phone and compaired the two. This thing is really thicker then my already thick 6260. I'm a loyal Nokia customer ever since the 2160 but to be honest, ever since they started making multi-purpose phones, the specs are just not up to par with other companies. I mean my MP3 player in my 6260 is MONO!!! The camera is less then average in quality. The loud speaker isn't really loud and not clear at all. When at the same time this was out, other companies like SE and Samsung had much more better phones then this and reading reviews proves my point. So I'm serioudly going to wait for a extensive review before making any decisions on this one. Oh did I mention the 6260 is slow? I hope this one has a better processor. I've learn that with mobile phones, specs on paper is almost nothing like playing with the real thing. Just my 2 cents...

This phone is better than N93, N72 and N73. N93 is a bricksized phone.

i also need to know when will n80 be released in south africa, i phoned vodacom yesterday and they told me the phone will be in by end of may..but they always gave false informations..so i don't think this info is reliable..man..everything in sa is so fken slow..this country is really useless...

how is the wi fi? is it working good? and the UPnP?
to the guy asking about the FM on speakers, i think like most phones, u have to connect the headset, then you can turn the speaker on after.

hi... i'm new here ...interesting this phone is... had it for about 2 weeks... stands up to the hard test.... be mindful the two previous quotes or ones on size as determining factor will be glad for some maturity (& along with cellular develop.)sent to them 'n best regards on their 12th.

And on the talk of this being embarrassingly fat - if you dont get what im going on about, perhaps you should do some research of your own and notice that NOKIA 'craftily' dodges any SIDE views of this phone.
They know the embarrassing flaw of this thing too......
At least if everything on it fails and SE comes up with the better phone it is still guaranteed an award - for being the phone that most resembles Dawn French.
If only the N73 was coming out at the same time - it might have only half the features (i bet most of which on the N80 you would never use anyway, but anyway..) at least the N73 is SLIM and 'cool' to be seen with.
People will be laughing at you for trudging around with that enourmous chunk of plastic in your hand.
