Hi there... anybody got the REAL release date? I live in Dublin & I was told it was due to be released by last week, and although it has been delayed, it will "FOR SURE" be for sale begining of April ....at least on the 3G shops...

but if the vodafone will bring it in april why 02 will take such a long time...
i have already gave some money to my friend to bring this phone for me. he is comming from singapore in april 7.
so do you guys thing that will they release the phone before 7 april....

I rang up asking about upgrading to a 3MP camera on o2, they said they had nothing! but si was told the N80 is coming out end of April '06 or start of May '06.

well guys today in portugal i friend of me has been on a formation sessions of phones,coze he works on multinacional company of phones sales, and he as test the n80 and the told me the phone is GREAT,anyway the phone is not finish and the date to all europe is MAY,dont wait for the phone sonner and dont buy phones on ebay or places like that coze or his scam or is promo phones without imeis and lots of software problems.
Ist better u guys wait for MAY.

im with o2 online, wana keep wit them but when i rang they didnt have a date for phone
anyone else heard if n when o2 online will release this phone?
If its on their 3 network will it still be same money to phone it from normal o2 tarrif phone
or should i just go with 1st network who releases phone as people will have to pay the same to contact me.
Dont really understand now that most networks have anytime minutes on contract but most my M8s have payg

hi today i sent an email to singapore nokia asking the release date of n80 and they replyed me saying this........
me----
this is the last week of march and the end of the q1 2006. so I think n80 will be release in q2 2006, Is it true????

i'm owner of a NOKIA 6680!!!i'm very very pleased with the phone BUT i'm thinking of buying a N80 when released in order to gain some extra features of the newcomer of Nokia... Does it worth???

Only reason i was thinking of get'n the n80 was because of the screen resolution, but forgot the n80 check the sharp 904 with 480 x 640 pixels, 37 x 48 mm!!!!!!! nokia n80 just doesnt seem all that anymore!!! nokia u really dont know how to market a product.

no release date yet, this phone just keeps on get'n delayed, i just seem to have lost intrest init, by the time its released in the market there will be much better phones released from SE and Samsung. Nokia u need to sort this out.

Not sure why people want to buy this phone as soon as its released coz its best to wait and see the reviews coz N80 could be like n70 (full off faults). I think i'll wait after the review, dont want to be dissapointed again with nokia.

Well, if that's really true, the first quarter is over in 10 days... so yeah should be anytime but i reckon it'll be start of april.

Got an email back from NOKIA today here is what i asked,
"hello any updates on when the nokia n80 is getting released, i heard nokia seaid 1q and theirs only 1 week left i hope its true.
if not when will be the average date for the release e.g april.

Its funny that people honestly think nokia is particularly fearful of SE or Samsung when both have relativly low market share in comparison. Especially when you consider Motorola is second world wide, and first in the states. Nokia may get a little competition on the high end stuff from the two smaller (in terms of cell phones) companies, but they aren't big enough to knock nokia off thier perch.
