Just saw some news about n80 saying it has iTunes with it. Is that true? its gonna be cool if n80 has it...

This phone rocks! It's got a great design, 3.2mp camera, Wi-fi and more. Go nokia! BUT i don't think the design is as good as the N92, and it doesn't have DVB-H wich is a bit of a let down, but yet the N92 doesn't have 3mp camera. I have a sony K750, and i love the pictures, but i want nokias video recording capabilities!! The n70 video was great, you'd only think that the n80's video will be better, but the same would b fine... If they only had the 3.2mp on the N92 i'd get that, but im gonna have to settle for the n80 cause i need to upgrade from 2mp sony. ALSO i need to get this phone before april the 4th - I hope it comes out, i'm calling nokia and asking places every chance i get but no one knows. I need it in Australia NOW - I'll be waiting for you Nokia N80!

All you SE fans, what makes you think that k800 is better? OK, it depends on what you're looking for in a phone. I think f.ex. that the camera in k800 will be better than n80, because the lack of autofocus and so on. On the other hand, nokia improves with their connectivity: EDGE, WLAN, UnPn, 3G and so on, havent seen a SE which is better than nokia at that specific field. And if youre really upset with cameras, go and buy a digital camera, much better to be honest..

Nokia better get there mobiles sorted out as quick as they can the N80 might pull people with the design but if its camera is a big disappiontment Samsung an Sony Ericsson are going to show them up i even went to the Nokia web page as i am a club nokia member an let Nokia a message please put Auto-focus on your cameras an they replyied we will look into that,they better add this function to challenge Samsung an Ericcson,thats why i got the K750i an left nokia for the first time an i might be tempted to keep away from Nokia why have they not improved its cameras an its software

I was trying to make this post on my-symbian.com but i just registered so not able till 24hours hehe!
I don't think there is a relationship between the fact that an increase in PS to 300+ would be made, that the battery should become more powerful/longer! Yes more spead = more battery usage but i wouldn't bet on the fact that the mere factor of the N80's battery being weak (820mAh) is the reason why a PS increase is out of the question!
The only reason i have to back my reasons is a future much better battery sold for the N80 or any other N-Series for that matter.
1. It was done before
2. It's a great marketing strategy to make us spend more
3. They don't want to delay longer for the launch of the phone with yet another upgrade.

Hey Alexx,
I just read your post on symbian site, very interesting! Makes a lot fo sence and sure does have the back means behind it.
Though my insight on ~330MHz PS was from Nokia Asia! My father works there and he was told by a press confress in china that a boost to 300+ was on the works for the new N-Series Nokia!
Also, I am very close with the founder of Cesium Telecom and he confirmed to me that it would be 330 as well.
Now i am not makign this phone neither do i work for nokia, so am i 100% sure? NO of course not, but i'm just sharing my insight on what i'm unfolding! Sorry if i wasn't clear about that earlier but there you have it.

k800 better than N80??? HAHAHA! pleeeease... k800 is a DUMPphone... there's no way in hell that it can beat a smartphone like N80. On top of that it's missing both WLAN and EDGE! those are reasons to choose N80 alone! Not to mention UPnP. and of course... the screen on N80 is MUCH better. How you can even compare these two phones is behond me...
Lami: How do you know it has 330MHZ? Are you 100% sure?

Can't you edit pictures on the N80? Add frames and stamps and colouring etc?

I will state the ADVANTAGES of each the N80 and the K800. So whatever is mentioned on either will be superior. What is more important for you in a cellphone would be an matter of induvidual choice and preference, who am i/we to judge "people's choices". Just don;t go saying one is better than the other when the facts are facts!
NOKIA N80:

Yea the SE K800 is better than the N80, cause um... for a sec there i was confused whether we were buying a CAMERA W/ A PHONE!!!

The only reason this phone is being delayed, IF it is gonna be delayed longer, is merely to the fact that they are fixing the soo called buggs you are talking about that you faced in the N70 and previous models. I'm not saying there will not be any bugs at all, that will never exist with any phone no matter what edition of the software or model of the phone you get! SOme poeple, just like me love tech stuff and i'd like to be one of the first to carry it. I personally will get it as soon as it comes out!
Be ware guys! When you go buy the phone from 3, vodafone etc.... thier softwares have been ultered, and they have been limited and blocked.. hence they are not original OEM Nokia software, so don'y complain with any problems you may face! I buy my cell phones from overseas original from the manufacturer and not from 3rd party outlet providers!

i've just contacted vodafone (uk) and the release dates are n91 10th april n80 and n92
april 20th,last month they told me nokia n80 would be out late feb.it clearly shows vodafone don't know what they,re doing!

Dont know why people want to buy this phone straight away, jus after its released? If this phones anything like the n70 then its not worth wasting money. The n70 is one of the worst phones ive used due to bugs and problems

My local Nokia store told me that the N80 is expected in the last week of march with a sim free price of £399.99 in the UK. Vodafone are expected to be the first UK network to offer the phone, most likely from 2nd week of April.

sony ericsson is not a real mobile phone maker many of my friends and colleagues and i totally agree that SE concentrates more on multimedia features (e.g. camera) in a phone rather than making "real phone" features (e.g. being able to show sim and phone memory in phonebook at the same time, et al) not to mention their durability (does not even come close to nokia)! let's face it big time SE fanatics that both k800 and w950 are really INFERIOR than nokia N80! besides W950 does not even have any camera and K800 is not a symbian phone plus its not EDGE compatible, not WLAN, QVGA display only compared to 352 x 416 pixels of N80 and only has QCIF video capture! only better is its auto focus though but at least N80 has macro mode too plus video stabilization. now somebody tell me y those mentioned SE models are better than N80?!?! my answer is NO WAY! btw, both K800 and n80 are almost has 3.2MPX still resolution camera but not totally 3.2MPX! here's a better look

well is not the same as the n92 but most of the symbian phones. can watch tv. even the old 3660 etc. its a feature on some networks. but you have to pay for that.

i like this nokia N80,,maybe the design it seems a little bulky to handle,,but its performance is quite simple good... this is a future one for the nokia phones...
