As i told u once again,this is a brilliant phone, but its one more of NOKIA's comercial tricks,i was sure that it wouldnt be 4Q of 2005 neither the 1Q of 2006,
so as i stated before this phone will try to excite everyone to buy it in its highest price, the first month of its apearance and then 1-2 months later SE Samsung or even Nokia will come up with smth better and cheaper... typical...

In my opinion this phone is the best from the entire N series, though I don't understand why it doesn't have HSCSD.
I like it alot because it has the N90 display ( I was really disapointed in the N70 display), 3 megapixel camera,super wireless comunication and Symbian.
I will buy it the very second that it will be available in stores.

If everything that GSMarena reports about this phone is true, it's virtually the closes thing to perfect. Unfortunately, the 3h talktime is a major drawback. It has so many great features, it's gorgeous... but what's the point of that when you can't even use it?

I am soooo desperate for this phone. The Vodafone website is saying the N80 will be available in April !!! Was hoping it would be sooner, don't know if I want to wait that long but from what I've read about it it's better than anything else around.

The sooner this phone is out the greater the profit for nokia.Only for the wireless feature that it bares...The question is do we only wait for the fcc or how is it f!§$ing called approval and the phone is ready? or are they still producing it? because for the approval the time should be between 1 and 1 and a half month.

yes is true.. we ask a lot of about release dates... but... they will never say the realse date... just you will find the phine when is the shops... so you will know it just the same day...
but also is normal we ask.. because sometimes they say for aany quarter and often is not in that quarter

I was telling that the camera on the N80 wont be as good as a 2 mp ccd sensor. Coz ccd is much better then cmos.
The phone will be available unlocked before Vodafone or someone else get there hands on it i think.
There are still no official release dates so i wonder why people keep asking the same questions over and over.
So i ask don't post messages like.
A friend of mine works with Noka told me that....
just wait till it will show up in (online) stores

SO you say that The first who will have the N80 will be vodafone... in all countries where Vodafone is? so this phone will not be as free in shops before Vodafone have? for example in february? because often Vodafone take the phones 2 months after they are in the shops like N70 .. was available in october,,, bu tin vodafone in december..
And if will be in vodafone in March..why in the web of vodafone UK say that will be in April?
if come in March.... when in start March? or in the end?

Joe, I think you would most likely get dissapointed regarding its camera since it don't even have autofocus or optical zoom. I don't think it can have the camera as 903sh

This phone will be available for vodafone users first and it will be on the market in march. This is what vodafone have told me personally after talking to them a few days ago. All those saying its a rubbish phone and that they have it and all the rest of it are liars. It isn't even out in finland, the land of nokia. But march is the date, believe me. I want this phone as much as the rest of you and i wouldn't lie. Only 2 more months.

hope nokia can live up to its name for making a good phone this time, hope 3mp camera would be as good as sharp 903, finger cross. i like the design that took from the old 7650 but recenly nokia dissapointed me since 6680 up until n70 , better be good nokia, cos everyone is expecting this phone to be

Well i think the cam of the N80 is in fact worse than from the 6280 for instance. It uses a 2 mp ccd sensor. In stead of a 3 mp cmos sensor used on the N80. Though it is nice to have a good cam on a phone, its not a must for me. I like all the specs of the N80. High resolution screen. Best one i ve seen so far. uses the latest generation of Symbian. Wlan. and everything else. Very nice and in such tiny phone. Good work Nokia.
The N80 has been announced long time ago. So why do Nokia rush it as some of you say? Its bollucks!
Sure the battery wont have a long life span. But who cares to charge the battery a few times in a week. I don't. A bigger battery only increases the size of the phone.
I hope soon they will ship this phone and not delay it to Q2. If else, i'll wait for it. Coz its just the best thing for me i've seen so far.

omg this phone is my next phone... i was gonna get the n70 but then i saw this cause it was stylish and i like the sliding.. thing is i hope in the final stage b4 shipping is that it has a protector for the camera i dont want my sexy expensive new phone to break... even if cingular doesnt carry it im still going to buy it cause my contract is up in march

also dis fone has a higher quality screen than any other fone out der! No other fone has a screen with a resolution as high as this, pictures nd text will look very clear on this fone compared to others! It's also the best lkin fone i've seen. All the latest sony erriksons are very ugly.

no m8 da camera on dis fone is better thn any SE out der!! Dis fone has visual FM radio!! mp3 player etc u can even watch tv on dis fone if u get it on vodafone live u can watch tv on ur n80 any time for £3 a month! Dis fone is quadband nd it is wlan! It has upnp which means u can stream music and video/pics to tv n hifi! So how can u say dat SE nd motorola fones can b betta der is no fone betta dan dis! Dis fone isn't just gd 4 software...........

Very simple.
1) Good camera & sound = SE
2) Good music = Motorla
3) Good software = Nokia (Symbian)
I bought Nokia because i like its Symbian OS. Else I will be migrated to SE already.

SE takes more time releasing the phone but doesnt means its better quality, the k750 still have some unfixed bugs! my bro trashed his when the autofocus went nuts when he drop it, and the cheap plastic of the phone scratched.

This phone has the 850 band, so obviously it will be released on Cingular. But does Cingular have 3G yet?
I do not believe cingular will restrict anything...they are not verizon!
