totally cool.. luv d phone.. tho i wanted a n76 bt dis is better than nothing.. stil gettin used to it coz its a little bulky compared 2 d Motorola L6 i had before dis phone.. still luv it... xp

Hi.. Wat is the CPU details of N80? Wat processor it uses? Wat is the clock speed of the processor?

normally, before u purchase any brand of phone, u should double check the software & other features such as languages u need etc.
these will apply in all phones. not just n80.

after all the raves, i decided to buy N80. I was so excited to put it on and start using, until some hours later when a loud alarm woke me up with a call to muslim prayers. Apparently mine came with a software that has Islamic calender, alarms and such features. I don't think that's too cool. I should be allowed to make a choice. I sold it pronto.Pls check before purchase for any unwated software.......... Funmi

Yep and i dont understands why do ppl keep on cursing this model i woder if they bought it from black market and one more thing why should ppl have to load this thing with untrusted software,for sure it will cause trouble sooner or later,ppl please obey rule,we are not kintgrden nemore,ant lastly,believe or not,this model is the best Aleander Graham bell's latest inventions ever,nothing will be the same.you will find and would raise my word.Thank you very much.much obligue

awesome fone i like clamshell type of phones i used 6260,before this,N71...but N80 rocks i`m using 2gb mini sd no problems,one minor thing my camera shutter has no sound when you take pics..other than that no problems at all..maybe i just need to upgrade the Firmware mine is 4.07...i heard theres already 5.0 need to go to Nokia :-)

hello everyone..i just want to give an idea about how prevent the battery quickly empty when calling and using wifi..you all must to know where the antenna is actually located.maybe it is not in usual place as the other phones because the camera is there..it is somewhere at the left or right of the phone..please have a look on user instruction book..next time we shouldn't place our finger around there..it makes battery used more if there is obstacles there..email me if this tip work!because i myself dont try yet:-):-).

had my n80 for about 6 months. i do software upgrades when they are available...had no problems, only ever froze once so i did an upgrade and has never done it again. wish i had waited for the black version...my silver one has so many little scratches around the sides. love this fone. a++ for nokia

My N80 has this display problem when sliding up and down, The screen becomes white for a few seconds when sliding..Can any 1 help pls????? email me at vandu_j@yahoo.com

Excellent phone, All i can say is if you want a phone that can virtually do anything, well this is the phone for you. Even new phones today do not match what this can do!!

are u crazy! many phones are thicker than n80.
i think u better read more, see more and think more in order to improve ur knowledges.
u said that u exchange several times i suspect u bought an old (money ??)and 2nd-hand one.i might right!

Had this phone while ago, absolutely dog phone, its like a house brick, heavy, thick piece of junk that is slow, had so many problems, had 3 exchanges yet it still had same problems, this phone is a joke.

man u shouldnt interupt or even touch ur phone when its upgrading. it may brick ur phone..apparently it did, i guess.
just bring ur phone to nokia center, hopefully they will fix it for u..

Hi,
I just have installed Nokia Software Updater for N80 Internet Edition.
I followed the instructions, The firmware version of my N80 were going to change from 4.0632.0.38 to 5.0719.0.2.
Almost at the end of the process, I had to take out the battery, then disconnect the usb cable, after that put the battery, turn on the phone and connect the usb cable.....
But, at this time.... the phone didn´t start up....
I am really worry because even though I tried to charge the battery, the phone doesn´t turn on any led.... I´s now a dead phone....
Please help me with some advices.....

Hi juris ,yep it happened to me and after i bought a new batt,problem totally solved,but have you ever had a problem of radio wont worked well on power save mode too?like i'd mention on my last posting?or please everyone,if this is normal to N80??

Both n80 and n80 internet edition have wifi. However the internet edition allows u to surf the web more stable. Its the best phone as the screen is clearest among all.:)

My N80, about a year old, just went completely dead. I had it nearby overnight, then in a holster while driving. I don't recall any dying phone bleeps. It won't restart and does not respond to being attached to a charger. It is completely dead. What gives? Anyone else have this happen?

N80 is a gr8 phone from the specification's side ,but from the design side it's so ugly !!!
