the only strong feature that Nokia 5610 has outweighted N81 is it's 3.2mp camera. besides that N81 is far superior than 5610.

i suggest the N81, cuz it has a WLAN or Wi-fi that more are looking for.... if you'll compare the two phones.... N81 has more features and advantages... hope this will help you in thinking...

Guys i know this is a stupid question. Here's the thing.. I want to buy a nokia cell, my choice is between N81 and 6500 slide. I still cant decide which one is better. Since my budget is tight and N81 is more expensive than 6500 slide(in my country the price between those cell are: N81 is 3.5M, 6500 is 2.9M) I listen to the music n playing games a lot on my cell but photo n video quality are also important to me, at lease no delays on the video(i know every cam is usually bad in dark situation even in a real digital cam). Please.. I need your suggestion which one is better. Btw have u tried the video calling menu? How was it? Was there any delays? Thanks for your reply. I really appreciate :)

Any Club Nokia members here? Got an e-mail from NOKIA about N81 and N81-8GB, they are doing a survey on them, theres a link in the email to the survey, i haven't filled it in, got Loaded Shedded before i could so im just wondering who here has done it? What questions do they ask?

For long battery life N81 is perfect, mine lasted TWO AND A HALF DAYS on moderate use, heavy use it can last 17hours.

I want to buy a new phone, but isn't sure what to buy can any one please tell me about a good phone, that have a "long" battery life. I have looked at the nokia 6500 classic and is really impresed, but i have heard that it doesn't have a "long" battery life. Can anyone help me please???

In that case why are you here in N81 Forum? If you want a Camera phone thats at a good price wait for the 6220-Classic, OR get a N82 it has Wi-Fi, otherwise N78 will make a good choice as well.

I want a phone that is not too pricey and can take nice pictures, it must also have wlan and hsdpa or 3g. Im not a person whos really interested in gaming on phones, i have a pc made for that stuff. I have tried my friends n81 but the pictures are not clear at all. My 6230i takes clearer pictures then this phone. I also want a phone that can play .avi files. Even if it has to play it through 3rd party software. And it must also be able to have 3rd party themes installed onto it.

u should take n81 than n73. n81 smaller, thiner and smarter than n73 music edition, and also using 3.5mm hf. u also can change the casing in every nokia centre, so dun worry if u wanna buy n81.

r3, i think ur friend mobile save the app in memory card, not in phone. coz after u restart the mobile everythings will gone. may be u should ask him to format the memory card once than u'll know the result. samsung and nokia is 2 differet mobile, samsung just a simple mobile and u cant compare with nokia. the basic of nokia mobile to make a bright future for all the mobile in the future. buy samsung and u'll get bored so soon, samsung armani its just a waste of money, but nokia vertu is the real high class mobile. they said rich people is blind, so they didnt need any app and they just use it for trend and elegant. 40% of people in the earth using nokia mobile now. gaming mobile, fun mobile, elegant mobile, 3g mobile, tv mobile, music mobile if u mix it together will become NOKIA (human tecnology).

Dont make me laugh. i450 better? LOL!
N81 has easily accessible music keys, More RAM, Wi-Fi, Ngage, PLUS its getting FL3,for full Flash site support, full YouTube and WRT. ON TOP OF THAT it has well seperated 3D dual stereo spearker, a proper touch navi-wheel, 3D Nseries rotating Gallery, Multimedia Menu plus a sliding lock.
Also i found that the i450 has a sound amplifier which will make the bass, and treble obviously louder but N81 has a sound chip that improves quality and seperates instruments etc. . . very well. I think this is why there hasnt been a clear winner between these two in sound.

this one is a nice phone but believe me, you would rather buy Samsung i450 for these reasons :
1. Better QVGA Display
2. A little better audio quality in the headset.
3. Less buttons, 3.5mm jack is placed at the right position and his properly covered.
4. More attractive both inside & out. Default
icons look much better. And the gallery separates the image & video for better management. (although the 3D Landscape of N81 is cool)
If you dont need Wi-fi, go for the Samsung i450.Both phones are almost identical. But i gguess Samsung i450 is a little better.

Human Technology N81 or Tsepz,
bro, do you know how to reset n81 (that would include deleting all the applications you have installed) to the very 1st time that you buy it. my friend try resetting his n81 by using "restore factory settings/*#7370#" however, it did not delete the applications he installed. i advised him to go to a nokia care center. however, if you guys know how, kindly post it here. thanks.

e series is for business, n for fun and life. u cant say e or n better. can u compare e51 with n95? can u compare n95 with e90? so u should see what u need and what u do with the phone, almost e series have wifi to make ur business better and faster. good luck to choose ur new nokia mobile.

n81 much better than any other phone, nokia remove the fm coz no ones need it anymore. now nokia already made a software to watch a tv just like n92, n96 and 7710 also e90. what u guys hope from 400dollars phone? u hope to have n81 with e90 software? come one guys.. this mobile more than enough for us, im using almost n81 and i still have another 8 Nseries mobile in my room. i love this mobile the most!!! ( n90, n92, n93i, n95, n80, n77, e90, e70). im nokia no 1 fans^^ dont regret if u become nokia fans, if u regret than just go to others pages and write ur comment in there, not here! any problems with ur nokia just ask me ok?! btw im a vice manager for nokia in Beijing, China (the biggest nokia company in asia). btw if u guys have a problems with the mobile try to restart with *#7370# and the normal password is 12345. than u'll mobile will be clear as new, before u do it plz save ur contack number to ur sim card. good luck and have fun with ur Nokia Nseries^^
