Anonymous, 17 Dec 2008n81s sound quality is no where near n96.Dream on buddy, the tests have been done and results are out, the N81 is STILL the best at Music Quality in the Nseries along with N91 and the Samsung Innov8 which are also better than N96 at sound.

awesome phone really.....but the problem is that its phone memory is very low only 24mb......which is very low.....and freinds who are facing problems of hanging please go to nokia care get software updated now new software is available.....it will solve your problems of hanging.....really

well there are many good games sites available there.......i know 5 of them only.--they are the best i guess.
someone please comment on the battery life....how is it if u play audio/radio for 3 hrs a day

Absolutely shit phone frnds plz don't buy this phone i m getting the problem on the next day of it,& i submitted my phone to customer care and every time returning back without sorting d problem mean they don't understand d problem of my phone' my phone hangs,automatically call from dialled numbers, ultimately they replace my motherboard. now i m getting new problem so they cross my endurance & i sue d nokia phone, guess what I got a new set of 8GB N81 to settle my case... so ignore this phone frnds...

I've had this for 3 months now.had to send it back twice for different problems.but now nokia replaced it with a brand new one !!it's an awesome fone with all the features for one's delight - especially the gorgeous 2.4" TFT and the navi wheel.only minus is the poor build quality hence sensitive handling is must to keep it in shape.symbian OS rocks when fully exploited.and the new firmware version 20.0056 give all the FP2 transisions that the n78,79,85 and 96 have !!

I bought this phone yesterday. I exchanged my father's N-5310 (hand-me-down) XpressMusic mobile for the N-81 (non-8GB).
This piece was highly recommended by the mobile store people for my price range (INR 10K to 15K).
Its got WiFi (though not as fast as that of PDA mobiles, but it would make do for some idle surfing in a WiFi hotspot).
3G enabled (service is expected to be launched in Jan in India, though it would be pretty costly).
What impressed me was the quality of tones and the phone's volume. While using the n-5310, I was gettting a lot of missed calls, as I couldn't hear the phone ring! Trust me, any slim mobile.. the speaker quality is screwed up.
Which brings me to the dimensions of this mobile, its pretty big and heavy. However, it snugly fits into my pocket.
The operating system, after a day's use, is pretty stable. I would be able to comment on this after I install applications. I probably wouldn't need to install many coz it comes preloaded with quite a few apps.
What this phone misses is a stand alone browser and free games. The 3 games bundled with this mobile, initially need to be installed. Out of the 3 , one would be free from Nokia (I got NFS free). The others are trial version, however we have the option of buying it from n-gage.com. Pretty costly, these games, compared to Indian standards. $7.99 (around INR400).
However, there are many sites where one can get games for free.
Camera quality isn't that great... considering the fact that its using Carl Zeiss lens. Flash is pretty decent.
The overall interface of the phone is nice and easy to use even for a fresher.
I would recommend this phone to people who are on the move and want to carry their multimedia and games along with them. It looks and feels like a rough & tough phone. Only time will tell. :)

If yes then it should have either the key in a text file or a key generator program. If the aplication is not cracked itself and there is no key, then you'll have a limited trial time to use it. Try to search other place. Anyway i'm using this site all the time and everything what i want works fine.

I... moreOK I have installed the media safe..I also set the date to current, but when I open the safe again, it says "Thank you for trying media safe"..I need to change the date 1year behind in order to access my hidden files again..haha

this phone was an absolute piece of junk!i am never buying a nokia again...i had this phone for about 4 months, i sent it back 3 times, and it always had the same and different problems.. so i called nokia, they told me to send it to them, i did exactly what the said and the phone 'wasnt in the package' and i havent seen it since, clearly nokia thought it was a good phone also!
since then i have gone sony ericsson! much happier:D
