i'm planning to buy N81, but i have some couple of questions...

        -build quality?
        -how's the slider? not loosing?
-how's the key? isn't it hard? menu and green/red and "c" key isn't it hard to press?
-the nave wheel, it looks like hard to use in "square" shape?
        -sound quality? speakers?
-picture quality? comparable to that of the k750i?
        -speed? fast or sluggish?
        -any hang issue?
        -battery life?
        -weight?

        tnx guys!
        i'm waiting for your response...

yes, i searched different related webpages to see he my phone had a problem, but it doesnt. Its just that nokia n81 does NOT have an in-built gps reciever and we have to connect to a device which had a reciever through bluetooth

Feature-wise I can't think of any advantage N81 has over N78 except for the music and gaming keys. N78 has tons more of features in exchange of that. The decisive factor now is price. If you want to save some money, choose N81. If you-re willing to pay more bucks for more features, choose N78. But I think N78 is worth the extra bucks. What I mean is it's cheap actually for the high-end features it's got!!

Is there any reason I should choose N81 instead of N78?

how do i make the gps on my phone work? When ever it switches on the bluetooth to catch satellite signals, it asks me to select a device with the bluetooth switched on, once i reject it, the gps stops working. Also, the trip counter doesnt work, the time counter starts while the distance covered and the speed remain zero. How do i make gps work on my phone?

nokia n81 is a gr8 fone; have been using it since the last 3 months; the phone interface never hangs neither is it slow; audio quality is gr8 thru the 3.5 mmjack and sounds gr8 on da speakers as well.da sound is as crystal clear as an ipod;i can bet on dis as i have an ipod nano and have checkedda same. In india this fone retails for rs 13,750/-it has a 2mp cam wich is a letdown ; but its da only fone dat has all features except da gps

                                  There is no silver N81.
Is it possible in all your excitement your brain had a minor overload and you mistook the N81 for the N82? Most likely I think yes.

In case ya didn't realise people from all over the world post on here, so there are different prices for every country and every network. It's impossible for someone to know what country you live in and what networks are there just by looking at your IP address. I suggest going to your local phone shop or your network operators websites, it would give you a more accurate price and would have taken less time than asking that question and waiting for a response that no one is going to give you.

It's not impossible to have fake/clone version of this phone. And it's not impossible as well to have a "no wifi" version of this phone as nokia always do with their nseries. I don't know what's the point. It's completely pointless. But they keep on doing it. Releasing crippled version of the original nseries.

The build quality leaves alot to be desired.I long for the day Nokia stop using cheap plastic.A Higher quality finish might have added an extra 10g to the weight but surely that would have been a price worth paying . internal rating 8/10 external rating 2/10 NOT HAPPY
