this is not arabic, it looks arabic but it is not , i am from Egypt it is arabic letters but you can't read it, any how please tell me is this phone good cause i am thinking of samsung G800 my old phone was NOKIA N80i and it hangs almost all the time...

n81 (8gb) has plenty of radio hardware & radio functions..it's got gsm/gprs/edge radios, umts radio, and wifi & bluetooth radios..maybe you're talking about the fm radio/receiver function,,which it also has just like any other nseries which doubles also as a visual radio..and it's even got an internet radio..it's inside the music folder just in case you didn't find it.

guys i want to buy a new phone my priorities are good storage memory, good music games and of course camera, in short i need the complete package.....
n81 8 gb seems to satisfy all but its camera is its shortcoming............
suggest me for which phone should i go....
i heard tht night mode of n81 is very bad and captures poor images in low light.
i can go till 18,000.

You must be storing your Messages in the Internal Memory right? Go to Messaging- Options- Settings- Other- Memory In Use- change it to Mass Memory.

i recently bought this fone i havn't put anything on it as yet but when i try to take songs from other fones it keeps prompting me that memory is full. is there a way to get to the free memory caue i am seeing i do have a lot of free memory.

how can we delete the artists in the music player of this fone? everytime i try to delete them, It shows, "General:Feature not supported." What does that mean?

There are 2 versions of this. Not the 8gb and the microsd edition. But the one with the high quality built, more solid and doesn't creak, classy. And the other one is the poorly built, one that creaks all parts. The one with high quality built is very rare, only available for evaluation and in some online stores. And the most abundant is the one which is poorly built which I'n sure all of you have.

i downloaded more or less 350 java and symbian games,400 mp3s and few applications and there still much memory left..about 5gb mass memory and 6000kb phone memory left..and now my phone hangs up sometimes and the symbian key malfunctions after restarting..same with cherry it will take few minutes before the symbian key works..and i noticed after restarting do not touch the symbian key for a while..just let your phone remain untouch for 2mins and the symbian will works fine..but still frustrating
now im starting to delete some games and applications..i just hope it will work..
My father bought this in Saudi Arabia.he paid a lot for this.he send me this through package.theres a warranty but it will cost me a lot of money to send this back to the store.. i love my father and i don't want to bother him for this..i love this phone and i just can't reject this for this matter..
so if anyone out there who knows how to deal with this problem please reply...i would highly appreciate your help...thankyou

Can anybody plz tell me what the hardware key-lock thing is about that's at the top of the phone?
(I haven't bought the n81 8gb yet, i'm just trying to figure out if this phone is worth it's price tag.)

The N81 definetly plays Music via the loudspeaker MUCH louder and clearer than the SE W910.

RAR file is Compressed file (eg. ZIP) so all u need is WINRAR so u can extract game inside frm RAR file...
Download winrar, Install it, open RAR file, Extract it, transfer on you mobile... its simple isn't it ?

n81 8gb is better than n91 all over..n91 is better only in volume and bass..n81's naviwheel shouldve been circle instead of square,,if so it wouldve been a bit easier to use.
sean,i use n81 8gb.it has problem playing vga videos at 30fps.sometimes it wont play.
hsn,little correction,,it doesnt have a joystick.the n96 will completely be different to n81 8gb..n96 is related to n95 hardware and feature-wise.
serajur,im using a china-made battery in my n81 8gb..its working fine the last 5 months ive been using it.
cherry,maybe you install so many applications.my phone never hangs as i can remember it.
5700xm,check ebay.ph for the price of this beautiful device :)
matt,theres an application that lets you change the user agent of an s60 device into an iphone but that has a problem with certificate signing.the other way is using netfront 3.3 browser but that works only with s60 2nd edition phones, unfortunately.

N81 8GB Experts,
How do u change the user agent of your N81 8GB? I tried Minuet.jar browser, it has a user agent changeable option but it's not connecting my phone over wifi/3g using that browser. Any other way?

does n81 8gb supports rar files???i downloaded games for n81 but some of them are rar files and its not supported by my phone..maybe theres a way to support these files..pls help if you know how...thanks
