This is the ultimate N82-N86 camera comparison. The Xenon flash just can't be beaten by a dual LED flash no matter how good it is. And it isn't a win-win situation for N86 either. For most of the photos, N82 produces clearer image results. N82 is still on par with today's camera standards even if it's almost 3 years old already. N82's REAL successor hasn't arrived yet!

The battery size was expanded, maybe because accidentally a few times it's been charged overnight. Recently my brother-in-law bought a new N97 and I play with his N97 for hours. I found that I'm still love my N82 more. Ithought that N97 was slower, has worse camera and less build quality compared to N82. N97 was too complicated while N82 was more user-friendly. Even if I have to change my phone with a newer Nokia phones I really can't decide which one I really want to choose. I LOVE N82.

N82 is a good quality phone. N82 is the best among 5MP camera phones.

There's no way to make xenon flash a flashlight, that flash is so much powerful it can drain your battery very fast if it will force to do flashlight and it will get very hot,too hot to make the plastic around the flash will dissolve.

Most N82 users' problems I've read all over the net are about the speakers and dead pixels. I've had my N82 for almost a year now. My phone's speakers are still working properly. No problems at all. Or maybe I don't use it too often for music. I've seen a very tiny white dot in the center of my phone's screen but that is hardly noticeable. It's so tiny. And it can only be noticed when you set an all-black image on the phone. But I think that most TFT LCD screens are prone to having the dead pixel problem, not only N82. But overall, my phone is working perfectly fine. N82 has got all I need on a mobile phone - great camera, smartphone functionalities, GPS, high-speed internet, multimedia capabilities, organizer and office tools. The only letdown is the outdated and small screen. But I don't see it as a reason to upgrade to any latest phones right now with large touchscreen display as I see no other major functionality added to them in comparison to what N82 can do. I'm a practical person. N82 still amazes me.
