responses:
your IMEI is your devices I.D.
the IMEI is your "log in" to the GSM/HSDPA (etc) networks.
when you turn on your device, you SIM card and cellphone IMEI log you in on the network.
if there is already one IMEI logged in, the second one just won't work at all.
cloned IMEIs happen more often in fake chinese devices, and this clones are around the world.
for example: someone has cloned your I.D. document, and is travelling around the world with it. if this person do no harm at all, wouldn't that continuing to be a problem? even your carrier, or technical assistances, nobody ever ask about your IMEI!
about the micro sd, n82 supports up 16GB. I don't know if with the full 16GB it could be kinda slow, I've never tried. I'm using an 8GB with 50mb free memory. it's working great. You can find micro sdhc cards class 2;4;6. That number represents the max speed rates in mb/s the card supports, but, the cellphone memory controller can't handle all that speed, so in practice it will be the same thing. but again, if you use a class 6 in the card reader of your notebook it will be faster than a class 2 indeed.
and about the sound, it is just great! But remember, only xpress music family has a dedicated chip for music. N82 has a dual central processor + a 3D processor for the graphics. I've never compared the sound quality of X and Y phones in the same time. I say, personalyze your own equalization mode and always use quality phones.

nokia n82 is the best phone in the world as even the innov8 cannot be compared to it because the innov8 has only single CPU whereas n82 has dual CPU!!!!! Cheerz

RLAAMJR., 12 Jun 2009I've only charged my n82 for 2 hours only on its first char... morenot a problem. If it's full it's full. Charging it after it's full could actually damage the battery, so no worries:) regards!

7may 2oo9 i buy nokia n82. I fill This is not a good handset. It has so many problem such as low bettary, in low light area it found some bubble in image when cupture, auto matic restart, hang ext. My has warrenty. Three time i post my set nokia care but they didnot solve any problem. Nokia care make some sekch in my set,s boby . In this cetution what can i do. I fill nokia n82 is not so gud phone.

i am using 8GB memory card and no slow down,i think same speed if memory is in or out, but i wouldn`t recomment to use 16GB although it will work fine, but heard will slow all applications,no need to exceed than 8GB with this phone

I've only charged my n82 for 2 hours only on its first charge since the battery indicated that it's already full. is it gonna be a problem?

I think the nokia n82 defines what a good nokia phone is. All other phone makes such as samsung, lg, se etc cannot compare to nokia, either through software or quality. Nokia mobiles are built to last and thats wat they do. The n82 is just a daddy phone that blows other phones away. Its casual, usable and sleek. Carry on nokia, ur just to good.

Bro from my N82 no hang ups using 8gb or 16gb and it's fantastic! You knw i'm jz wandering here wer ds pipol buying der units bec they keep on complaining. Actually my units r N82 black 16gb, N85 8gb, N95 4gb and 5800XM 8gb ol of ds i purchased at SM Fairview (CELLWAY and EDGECOM)authorized dealer of nokia all r made in china it's original nd excellent!!! Probably r units here in Philippines r very very good seldom to encounter or one in a million to hv a problem which ds pipol complaining with der unit. God Bless...Live and Let Live!!!

tt, 10 Jun 2009hmmmm..i would say you can try to copy the apps on the new ... moreim running low on phone memory, i only have 10MB at the moment thats why i have to save all my other apps on the memory card.. what i have where only 4 phyton apps and 5 themes and the rest of the nokia service apps. i was also wondering why i have 10MB left.
anyways thanks for the advice c", i will just reinstall aall aps again.
