if your n95 8gb is the best and the king, how come it never received any award. Unlike our n82 it was awarded "Best Mobile Imaging Device" by TIPA (Technical Image Press Association), Europe's largest photo and imaging press association. So brag something if it has something to brag about.

subho, 16 May 2009u r right this phone really looks and feel nice on hand.it ... moreYou can easily hack the screen brightness of N82. Use the "Search opinions" button in this thread. It's very easy. But I prefer the normal brightness of my N82. Super bright screen hurts my eyes.

                              N82 vs. N85

Is N82 better? Why? I'm torn on what to buy.

subho, 16 May 2009u r right this phone really looks and feel nice on hand.it ... moreyes that was a turnoff for me also. It's a nice phone but the small screen, strange button pos and below average battery life were a good enough reason to choose N958gb instead. It has a nice camera, but i only shoot daylight pics so it's not a problem. It sells really cheap so it might be a good replacement or a disco phone hehe:)

N82 awful design? You probably haven't got hold of N82 on real life. And you're just basing your judgment on internet pics. You know what? Nokia has the smartest designers in the world. They design phones that look so ugly in the internet pictures but look amazing in the actual like N82 and N86. There are a lot of people who admittedly said how they disliked N82's design in the photos but retracted afterwards after seeing it in the flesh, especially the black N82.
And a mobile review expert over at smape.com said that N82 is a class on its own. You don't usually get to see an all-in-one device in a candybar form because most of them are in sliders. Now which do you call boring?
Actually, N82's Xenon flash alone is enough to beat all N95 8GB's features combined. There are a lot of phones which are N95-ish, phones which are dual slide and have media keys, but N82 is the only S60 phone which has a Xenon flash (apart from the low profile 6220 classic and G810).
N82 is a standout in the crowd. While your N95 8GB has a lot of clones, I mean better clones.
And lastly, the battery issue that you're pointing out on N82, that's irrelevant now on the latest firmware. You're still living in the Jurassic period so why wouldn't you sell your old aged N95 8GB and buy the the best of the best N82! Hahaha!
