I use 8GB microSD, and the n82 running great without slow down its performance...
But i haven't test yet for 16GB microSD card..
Do you have test it??

4gb is fine as I'm using it for the past 1 year now. Max is 16gb I've tried and it's ok. Make sure your card is microSDHC class 6 for faster reading and writing speed.

i think the reason Nokia stopped production of N82 is because maybe n79 and n85 aren't getting much attention and sales from consumers instead n82 is.

hi subho...what better u want from it dear.i have this phone and also brought it from kolkata.but i have not faced problems so far.i think the set u have brought is giving prob.but over all the set is excellent.there is some problem wid the keypad.but it wil be smooth wid practice.so chill man!

N82 is stopped in production for some regions (i.e. Europe and America soon). It's because N82 is not the best/good one in term of business/marketing although N82 offers the best specs in its class.
It's impossible for Nokia to decrease the price too much so they think that stopping the production and making new lines are the best way to go.
Nokia do not get involved in its second market price. It absolutely depends on the market.

Fred, 06 May 2009I've been dreaming about having an N82 for the past few mon... moreThere is a special ingredient on N82 that makes a whole lot of difference in image and video quality compared to other 5MP Nokia camera phones such as 6220c, N79, N85 and N96. It is the 3D graphics hardware accelerator. Image capture and video recording is so much better with phones that have a 3D accelerator.

Sukrit, 06 May 2009In India every nokia dealer even the nokia priority one tol... morei brought this phone from calcutta and here also most of the the mobile shops are saying that this phone has been stopped i think becoz the amount of complain this phone is having about speakers,screen.and nokia also want to stop this phone so that they can promote their latest offering which is n79,n85

Sukrit, 06 May 2009fred..i am using N82 right now.its a delightful phone man!!... morethanks for the info. actually here in the Philippines, the newest N-series phones are still the trio of N96, N85 and N79. so the duo of N82 and N95 is still available in a lot of stores here. In fact even some of the older N series ones like the N70, N73, N81 and such are still sold here.
the price of N82 when it first came out here was about 19-21 thousand pesos (19 being in cash, 21 in credit card). the price after a year has gone down but not too much, 17-19 thousand right now. i can see a lot more people selling N82 on ebay Philippines than the 6220 so i guess the N82 would still be my choice (though I still hope the price would go down, maybe when the N97 comes out).

fred..i am using N82 right now.its a delightful phone man!!!u must be knowing that the image processing algorithm of the N-series mobiles are far better than the other normal mobile phones.then also n82 provide a 3.5 mm port and stereo speakers unlike 6220 and also 2.4 inches of screen.So dear pay some more bucks and get hold of N82.It will make life EASY man!!!

Hi Fred, What do u think about e52, it has very long battery life 1500mh but the camera is only 3,2 mpx what do u prefer, good camera or good battery?
