I've been dreaming about having an N82 for the past few months but yeah it's still expensive. However, I stumbled upon the *newer* 6220 classic which, if i read the specifications correctly, is somewhat similar to the N82 (a little downgrade from N82 as i see it since the only major differences I see are that there is no accelerometer and no wifi, not to mention cheaper too).
Anyways, I've been aching for an N82 or the 6220 for the 5mp carl zeiss lens and xenon flash from both. However, what confused me with some of the written specifications is the quality of pictures and video that can be taken with both phones.
Seeing that the cameras of both the N82 and 6220 are the same (as well as the flash), does that also mean that the quality of pictures and video captured are of the same quality? Or is one of the two better for some reason (please specify)?

I do love N82 but it is too expensive still. I just love the camera and its lens cover. I am ot super rich but I could afford it. The question is that: Is it worth it?
n.b. Remembering that lots mobile phones are launched ev'year. Thanks.

Camera, flash, video, processor, sound quality via headset and speakers, 3.5mm jack - everything is in favor of N82. E71 is for business and messaging. It's not a multimedia phone.

Anonymous, 05 May 2009I do not agree if you said that WinMo is the worst UI or ev... moresorry dude but symbian is just to great to compare with winmo, it covers all aspect, stability, softwares, games, personalization, even office, did you know that quickoffice is far more better than winmo's and its very much compatible with windows, apple or linux systems.
been to winmo but when symbian came along, i never look back into it, gone where the boring winmo days. c",

Even I had Nokia 6270 earlier, then switched to Sony Ericsson, and back again impressed by N82's sheer. N82 is one of the best. I didn't have any issues with N82's keypad, although getting a big screen like it would compromise space.
Tell me how would be its performance if I upgrade it to 4 Gb card.

i have the N82 and i use it mainly as a camera and phone and music player - i use the wifi for msn messenger and browsing at times and i send around 400 txts a month..gps comes in handy when going out of town as well.
for what i use it for i've found it very very good, i've previously owned the 6270, w810i, 3120and i think for the most part i like the n82 the best, probably because its more rich in features.
Pros:
camera quality is excellent, even at night time. i don't need to lug around a digital camera.
camera cover is another big plus
xenon = godly
music quality is fine, i'm not audiologist but i know what sounds good and what sounds bad and i've been very happy with it.
3.5 mm audio jack
location of 3.5mm audio jack
Big screen is nice - i dont really understand the people that say its not bright enough, i think its fine unless you're right under the sun all day.
looks nice - chrome finish is different from alot of phones on the market.
GPS is free to use provided AGPS is turned off, and can come in handy if one gets lost.
Cons:
fingerprints show alot on the chrome finish
the plastic it's made of is fairly soft and scratches if the phone is dropped - nothing too bad but bleh
some people dislike the keypad, to be 100% honest it was a pain in the *** for the 1st week or two, the 6270 was a dream to text on, but after a while you get used to it and i can now text almost as fast as on my 6270
gets warm when playing some of the better graphic..ish..games (ducati racer?) and also when multitasking - i've heard the odd one has had heat damage but i think thats the user's fault.
slightly below average battery life - i have to charge mine every 2 or 3 days when the phone is being used lightly, under what i would consider "normal" use for most people you would have 2charge it every 32 hours.
I don't really see myself getting another phone any time soon, nokia has yet to announce something noticably better - only the samsung innov8 trumps the N82 in features.

Bassan, i don't know much about technical stuff for phones, but you should try asking in this website: www.then82blog.com they are dedicated to the n82.
