The N73 has better sound, and louder.
But the N82 has a better camera. And the other features has been improved

ayette, 10 Dec 2008how can we upgrade our N82 to v30? kindly send your email a... moreayette before u upgrade your n82 to v30 firmware please read first the opinion of mr.khan last 2008-12-06 @ 14;09&14;15.if he is correct or wrong on what he said i really don't know.i also want to upgrade my firmware from v20 to v30 but now i'm confusing.i will just wait till someone confirm that this v30 firmware is really better than v20.i also want to know all the advantages and disadvantages of v30 firmware before i upgrade to it.it is necessary because u can not downgrade it anymore once you upgraded it.

Do you guys think samsung or nokia better? I want to change my current phone, and i was quite interested with samsung i900 omnia, but the price is quite expensive. And I think N82 would be better, but I am not so sure. Is N82 always freeze when software is running? Is there any downside of N82?

i recently update my nokia N82 device with version v30.0.019, and i dont know why, but it sucks..
i have been using my SDHC 8gb for some time and things have been just fine, up till i updated its software.. then things got messy and it hangs like a lot of time..like, to put it in words, as if it got moods.. and this has nothing to do with virusses or any shit of that. u know what i mean? like it freezes even after formatting..it may have improved the device stability and functionality at some point like the Nokia Map etc, no doubt about that.
V30.0.019 is actually an N95-based protocol, which should explain why it hangs a lot on N82, which is stinks.
this is the best-valued model from nokia so far, and its got the widest capabilities as a phone, so far..and everything has been great, IRONICALLY, so far..

There is a freeware answering app for all symbian 9 (3rd edition) phones. It is called mobigenie. Very cool!

it will automatically search for available update for your phone..
it also show you what version your phone is currently running... if it shows available update is v30.0.019 then flow the instruction in your pc... hope this helps

1. connect your phone to your pc using pc suite
2. open nokia software updater
