hey man we would run after REAL improvments af... moreThat’s true, we need real improvements. We can send this message by not buying crap like N96, which with its price tag does not offer much new. Then they will learn that changing clothes & renaming phone won’t work.

And more megapixels doesn't make better picture, everything counts in camera performance, not only megapixels. If Samsung INNOV8 had xenon flash, then it would be the best of the best of the best, then I would agree and say that it's the best, but it doesn't have it so for now I'm gonna still use my "old" Nokia N82 for taking pictures, especially at night. hey man we would run after REAL improvments after Dramatic changes in fones after new lenses after new sensors and bigger ones not downgrading like the n96 right ... all what manufactures do right know is changing the case and a little of the device which isn't worth at all thats what i was talking about they r deciving us with new names n96 99 100 !!!! but where is the real change ! n82 become best seller for its xenon gps ... all in one device thats i'm talkin about ... hope u get it man ...

Friends, My life has come to a stand still. This summer I will be getting a phone made by nokia for its amazing features.
After a lot of looking around, I have come to the last 2 options: Nokia E71 & Nokia N82.
I dont know which to buy!
Nokia E71: Ive never used qwerty keypad so im nervous that i wont like it. Also the camera in e71 is bad.
Nokia N82: I like bar phones as you dont have the hassel of flip and slide. The keys in n82 are way to small.. Camera is 5MP so yea.
Friends, make my life easy and suggest me what I should buy.

Hi I used to have a N95, I currently have a N82 and have just upgraded to an N96 (which is going back pile of crap) and I can say that the N82 GPS is excellent, I have the newer software version with A-GPS enabled and it really is brilliant, far better than any other nokia I have used. It is comparable to the HTC windows devices which use the SIRF III chips. Highly recomended handset.

kg, 07 Oct 2008hi everyone. i need the honest opinion about the GPS in n8... moreWell.I had the n82 before.It works fine.that A-GPS was pretty good.as long as you are expose outdoor,then for sure you will get good signal.like within 50secs.it will locate where u at.

I just got my N82. Can anyone teach me how to delete the header from the email?? Tried to delete both from phone & server, but the header still kept in the phone... Pls help

hey ppl.. can somebody tell me how to off the clicking sound when taking a pic? the capturing sound is still there even though i'm in silent mode. plz help me! i need to off the camera clicking sound! thanks in advance! =)

Yeah! I'm a camera freak! I am also a slide phone hater! That's why I don't like N95... I prefer this phone... the N82... The best phone I ever had so far. The xenon flash, the 5 MP camera, the stereo sound, everything fits me. The drawback is the small keys. But what the heck... I love this phone!

I don't like this phone. It has a certain market niche only which is camera. I hate the fact that it doesn't have media keys and much worse the sound quality is nowhere near N81 or N91. This is a phone for camera freaks only. I'm not a camera freak so this is not the phone for me. I would rather get an N81 8Gb with only 2MP camera but with so much better sound via headset and speakers than N82 with great camera but poor sound quality via headset and speakers. Or I would rather get the N95 or N95 8Gb with so much better looks and design, has media keys than N82. Or I'd rather get an N79 or N85 with so much improved features and fresher looks than this N82. In short, I will never buy N82 because I don't like this phone!

Don't u think its better that people run after for more mega pixel, more functions and more of more. This makes the industry developing, if people don't want more & more then why the mobile manufacturers would spend millions or billions of dollars in R&D!
If people not run then we would have stuck with brick phones! Because of this manufacturers build phone like N82! And if u don't run & want more then how & why nokia will develop more great phones!
So keep runing so the revolution & evolution may keep going!!!

People who run after megapixels go buy a real digicam instead !!! we admire nokias for its overall performance and features yes there is some fones superpass nokias in megapixel stupid count !! but can't beat nokias in the overall fone features ... nothing complete but nokias excel their fone .. go change ur fones every month running after megapixels as every 3 month a new 10 mp 12mp or even 20mp hits the market ... u ppl who run after that makes companies lives !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and sell!

At present, yes phone can’t replace standalone digital cameras. But in the future it may change. One day phone can even replace the DSLRs, I know now it’s impossible to think this. But did anybody think that a phone can even take pictures in 70s?
