just bought the n82 today at nokia iv been playing with it for 5hrs already searching how to know the software version. i cant find it. can anyone help me? plsss and how do u upgrade the software?? iv also installed themes and games but it says its not supported. i downloaded the games at mobile9.com. im also not sure if its just me but the sound through the ear piece is kinda soft. not sure if its me. finally I have 1 and its true its a sexy phone and its fast, responsive I have the black one

I'm an N82 Light Titanium user since february 14th and I'm very happy with it! It's the best handset I've had! Every firmware update is absolutely effective in terms of performance, sound quality and battery life especially the v30.0.019.

I just got my new n82 black yesterday and drained the battery the first day i put in charge at night and woke up 9 hours later it says still charging no battery full I tried different chargers different sockets everything same my battery won't stop charging!! please help!

Do you happen to know what types of apps works even though its close? these are some that i have installed: google map, qik, couple of games, kaspersky anti virus, n gauge, sports tracker, worldmate, wellness diary,vimio tv, emoze, deviscape, tube jar, etc.

ajay chettri, 27 Sep 2008I bought N82 3 months ago, my set does not have a good voic... morejust go to your nearest Nokia Center. they should know better besides your phone should still be covered by 1 year warranty. if they cannot fix then have it replaced.

I bought N82 3 months ago, my set does not have a good voice quality, if i use the loudspeaker the voice quality is even worse and sound is very soft.
I contacted the dealer however he told me that the quality is same with all N82.
Im bit surprised mobile with this price tag is not even embedded sound quality as that of basic models. What do u suggest me ? Is the dealer correct because he justify N82 without even hearing wat my case was ?

This is a really goOd ph0ne i choose this over the n95 because of its cAndy bAr form, bouT the peEl of things, i think it is oN the pers0n who handle the ph0ne. In my cAse i put a crystal cAse, it fits perfectly, and guesS what after i put the cAse the numeric keys are so easy to use.

Guys, do you think to much applications can weaken battery life? I downloaded around 40 apps and my battery wouldn't last 48 hours. I don't use my phone that often. When i removed my mcard and placed one without any. Battery lasted up to 3 days with normal use.
What say you experts?
One thing for sure N82 is the best phone now!

Uhmmmm... What do you guys mean that the "Black N82's" keypad peels off ?? I mean, which part of the keypad would probably peel off ?? Because in my case, there was even not a single scratch on the alphanumeric keys. And so does it go to the d-pad, soft keys, multimedia key and you name other keys there.
And I guess I saw somebody here in this forum before that his N82's keypad peels off and got scratches all over after a month of usage (?).
Hmmm.. Maybe they love to drop their phone and afterwards blaming the phone for poor materials? Lol. You should blame yourself for mishandling it ! And besides, the N82 might be totally made of plastic, but hey, it's not as poor as the one used on the 6220c. It feels nice and invokes a feeling of durability. For me, it's really on a higher level of quality for a plastic-based phone. Just forget about the metal as they are reserved for the E-Series and selected Series 40 products.
Well, I've got to admit that my N82 (black) got minor scratches at the back. But it's on a low profile of visibility and is hardly visible not unless you love to spend a few minutes tilting your phone against a light just to see the scratch. But I really cannot imagine that the keypad peels off, hands down. The alphanumeric keys are all in black so how can it be peeled ?

hey, recently my bluetooth has been acting up. it was working fine until a few days ago but now when i try to turn it on, there will be an error message saying 'unable to perform bluetooth operation.' i tried turning my phone off but it still did not work. but the odd thing is that sometimes i can turn my bluetooth on but most of the time it has an error. anyone know what to do?
