Can you press the keys of the N82 or are they more like 'touch' keys? In a telephone shop I saw a dummy N82 and I could not press the keys. So I wondered if you can't press the keys of a real N82 too.. ???

dont buy n82 if youre a music aficionado or an audiophile. music is the least priority of this phone. its best in imaging. video quality is great compared to other mobiles but the sound of the video file is extremely loud which is not so pleasant to hear. overall, n82 is a great phone. but if music and sound quality is what's important to you above anything else, n81 8gb can serve that to you excelently.l

Is the sound quality of the n82 better than the samsung d900, on par with it, slightly lower or extremely lower. And what percentage is the loudness compared to the d900

hahaha i will buy this phone on friday, the black of course. its available in cagayan de oro according to nokia store. price is hefty, Php21,060. 2 months ago this was Php18,500, last month Php19,000. see how the prices grow? its because of the increase in demand

Tom mickey, 29 Jul 2008You traded a N95 8 GB for this N82. whats better in N82 whi... moreAs i said in my post i hated the slide mechanism and the bar shape is much much easier (for me anyway). don't get me wrong the n95 8gb was brilliant for features which is why the n82 was the logical replacement.
The gps seems much faster in the n82 and when used with the tomtom it's first class.

N95 8GB is to big for me, it will attract attention.. i think i have enough of this attention already to be able to earn another via huge phones c", it attracts snatchers as well, better be secured than sorry..
just among the advantages N82 have over N95 8GB

presently hav replaced ny n95 wid n82 coz of reasons...
if if u guys r confused between n95 and n82 den go and grab THE BEAST N82.
pros of N82 over N95..
-a very handy bar phone wid no slide coz slide sucks aftr some time.
-GPS is surprisingly faster than N95.
-comes wid a XENON flash to capture amazing pics even in no light.
-faster processor than N95.
CONS--
low battery life..
but is d best deal yet....
so go guys go............

i love this phone! i'm not a heavy heavy user about 20-30 txts and loads of music a day and i get 2 days easy from it, mind you thats with the screen right down and the wifi off.
Anyway i got a hack and tom tom for the phone and i have to say the gps is first class very fast very stable.
I got rid of an n95 8gb for this beauty beacause i hated the slide mechanism and for anyone interested it was well well worth the change.
best phone i've owned so far bar none and i've had a few

i'm using my n82 more as a music player, and as a music player, it's just not good, sound, battery, not having music controls on casing and in headset... i think music is the least priority of this phone. less than 10 hours of battery from fully charged to empty, in music playback, in offline mode, and ocassional browsing on menus (not web browser).. my previous n81 8gb used heavily on music playback, with ocassional web browsing on 3g lasts more or less than 12 hours.
conclusion: n82 isn't that great in power management as n81 8gn. set aside that issue, everything is great.

I've had this phone about 2.5 months and I absolutely love it! Had to wait 2 months more than I originally planned just to get it in black, but it's well worth it. From the camera to the gps, to the music player, it's just a great phone. Only problem is the tiny buttons, which takes some time to get used to. Best phone out there in my opinion, at least until I can get the N96!
