i dont know what this phone is made of that sucks the battery juice so hard! screen is dim. not using hsdpa, wifi and gps. not even using the xenon flash cos im not really that fond of taking pictures. but still battery lasts less than 10 hours a day. my previous n81 8gb which had a lot brighter screen and i used heavily on music playback and occasional web browsing on 3g can last even up to 12 hours. n82 is fully loaded with features but performance-wise its below par with my previous n81 8gb.

Hello, I just bought this mobile today. I paid $411 here in Saudi Arabia (made in China). It looks good. Nice keyboard & camera. Fast as N95. From inside its exactly same as N95.

loudness of the phone is a okay, just more than enough to enjoy good quality music and notice text and call alerts
i came from a Nokia 6120 Classic and the difference is remarkable

N82 can play MPEG4, AVC/H.264, H.264, H.263, WMV, RV files, better have it check in Nokia Care Center, i sure there willing to help.

How is the n82 audio quality compared to the d9=, is the difference so big that I would be disgusted with the difference or is it acceptable

I've had the phone for two days nd im already loving it. Camara is fantastic. The phone is quite expensive though but worth it

mac, 27 Jul 2008as i'm considering buying nokia n82.. please can any body ... moren82's volume is slighter softer than n81 8gb's. and comparing with n91, the difference is so huge. 100% of n82's volume is only 60% of n91's. audio quality is just ok on n82, nothing to brag about. if you didn't have n91, you'd be satisfied with n82's sound quality via 3.5mm jack.

just a little advice!
read the manual of your phone and you'll find power saving tips in there
mine last for a day with wifi turned on during break times to check my emails and surf, heavy texting, (philippines is the text capital of the world), moderate calls made and received, few snaps and video, MP3 player on my way to work and on my way home with bluetooth stereo heaset on.. etc.
im happy with the battery performance of my N82

it's not so good for music. not the sound, but the convenience as a music player. i had n81 8gb before and as a music player it's the best. n82 now is my main music player, although i still have n91, and i could really tell the huge difference of it as a music player. on the other note, although battery is the same as on n81 8gb, i notice that n82 has shorter battery life compared to n81 8gb. i'm not even using wifi and dual mode, and yet battery hardly lasts 10 hours.

as i'm considering buying nokia n82..
please can any body tell me ..is really nokia n82 have avery low music volum?
and does it have the repeat/play list option?

I like this phone so much!! And most especially the web browser. My N82 black came with firmware version 20.0.062 so my N82 already have Macromedia Flash Lite 3.0 and I can watch YouTube videos with it! It really does the page rendering and flash video playing of YouTube exactly on how the PC does! No need to pay additional streaming fees because the Macromedia Flash Lite 3.0 can support flash videos with ease. No lags at all! I like it especially connecting via Wi-fi. Now this will teach Smart and Globe(network providers here in the Philippines) a lesson. They usually rob my load out. Better connect via Wi-fi for free here at Starbucks and in our school's Wi-fi.
P.S. Nokia N82 is selling very well here in Cebu, Philippines since the black N82 was released.

i have bought this phone yesterday upgrade from N73
this is my opinion
1) The 5 mega pixel camera actually does not impress me the picture sharpness just like n73 the xenon flash only a little bit better compare to N73, my Old canon Ixus 40 camera take pciture much clearer and sharper than this phone
2) the battery life life is awful after 6 hours charges the battery for the first day it only last less than 10 hours (normal use)
3) the speaker sound is low
4) The GPS system is not user friendly somemore need to u to buy the software
5) the LCD display quality is disappointed

this phone is so great..but the battery is very bad because its lasts 12 hours...i have this phone and its good and fun..^_^
