Question
My N82 goes into lock mode to fast. Is there anyway I can turn off auto lock mode or extend the time? It's very annoying.

All I can say is, it will take a customer so much brand loyalty to nokia to still prefer the N96 over Samsung INNOV8 i8510. Samsung INNOV8 i8510 is the new king now! Nokia's plans are not focused on 8MP camera phones. They are more inclined to developing touchscreen phones for the moment. See, Nokia's future devices are N79, N85 which are still on 5MP, and 5800, the first S60 touch UI.

for the first time in history, specs-wise, nokia is dethroned by samsung in the form of innov8 i8510!

wonder....will the innov8 be able to challenge the current n-champ-family or will it still not be able to withstand the might of the champions?

Have experience it myself, you'll feel the same if it happen to you, hope it wont.
The CNN stuff are quality check, all companies have quality check and Samsungs quality check is not good enough because the Samsung I bought was way below in quality. That's how low their QA works. And they have the worsiest Customer Support here in the Philippines. Call them yourself to know how lame it is.
Nokia have never failed me yet, I owned several phone from them and all of those have best quality.
My mind was now set, I'm not going to buy any of Samsungs products anymore because I dont TRUST them
I have learned my lesson, and learn it the hard way.

If that were ot... moreas what was featured on cnn couple of years ago, samsung makes several quality control on their products before they release it in the market, like drop tests - they drop their phones from a certain altitude. so i think you're a li'l bias. samsung phones are made to last longer than nokia's.

jst wanna ask if the 8gb mem card works well , i know it supports it but is it slow if i make it full !!
also dnt know why my phones takes alot of time loading ,, like when i open contacts , i have to wait for abt 5 seconds , dnt know wats wrong , also the music player although i only have 80 songs
does it really have scratchless screen !!
have u noticed the crushing sound in head phones !!

sarah malik, 24 Jul 2008hello n82 users.... i just wana know about the battery pow... moreit is when you use your phone in web browsing or anything that involves data transmission via gprs/edge/hsdpa that sucks your battery juice so fast. i also browse websites via edge on my n82 and it only takes a little more than 3 hours from fully charged battery until it becomes empty. packet data is the most power consuming feature of all mobile phones, i think, including n82.

If that were other phones specially Samsung phones, that would probably be history. I was a leaving witness how vurnerable their phones are. I drop an E250 just an inched from the floor and the LCD brooke, how crazy is that for a phone? Dumb company and their surrogates
