hey guys i made a new sort of record with my N82 , it fell from my 3rd floor appartment down all the way to the ground floor (nearly 40 feets) and it is still working bar a few small scratches, i guess i am just plain lucky for my phone to survive this fall . and mind you the screen is scratchless.

Love the phone!
Been using it for weeks now, a good values for the money..
Well built and very sturdy, I enjoyed every moment with it.
Texting is fast, buttons are soft, responsive and well spaced, very comfortable to use contrary to what others say.
Wifi is pretty fast, loading website is a breeze.
Reading .PDF, Microsoft files loads fast as well
Audio player is great as well, loud and well balanced
Camera gives best images..
Just among the tons of great feature this phone have.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Yes, it is better and I say buy it. I did and love it. I used to own the N95 and I definetly like the N82 better for form factor and xenon flash. This is my opinion, if you like the form of the N95 without xenon flash then go for that. Both are great phones. N82 is my choice by far. No regrets, and Im not looking back.

The first time I used this phone it keeps hanging that I almost return to the store. But being a mobile technician and symbian user for many years since 7650 was launched. I try everything instead. Master reset - same hanging problem, format mmc (micro sim)same problem. Trying to remove mmc now working fine and got an idea to replace mmc with Sandisk 2gb, still not hanging at all. Now I've used 4gb Sandisk...Terrific!
Only poor battery still problem unsolved!

Somebody can tell me that the secondary camera of this phone can use to take picture without open the 3G??? I hope to be reply in soon, please...

Hi, is there any way to change the default setting on my N82's camera's flash to off? It's always on when I switch the camera on. I like it to be off unless I want the flash on in the night or in dark interiors.
Any help will be much appreciated.

ossamah, 23 Jul 2008so there is no other flash for night video recording, i thi... moreI don't think it's a very big bull sh*t from nokia cause they haven't place led flash for recording at night. in majority ppl loves to take pic rather to video cause they didn't have time to see those moments. honestly i don't think u'll do even after they plants led flash for u. but still if u want to video sp at dark-night then plz grab a handicam! video is for some perticular moments not for all moment which a pic can do. a pic can tell stories which a video can't. that's why they used this line "once upon a time a sleeping beauty awakens..." which means u can take a better quality pic even at night & tell other ur stories......

But now, not anymore since yesterday that I bought a Sandisk 8GB micro SD card. I don't know and not really sure but I guess it is the bundled 2GB Nokia-branded micro SD that is poor in performance and/or usability. Maybe the Nokia-branded micro SD are of poor quality or something... i just don't know. Anyway, I especially love my N82 now!!! Hang problem is gone.
