where can i safely download applications fr my phone?
is it required to download an antivirus application? what if the phone connected to pc via usb a messge appears that there is VIRUS DETECTED what should i do?

GPRS is used to access network-provided services, like surfing the web or for downloads. But GPRS is slow by today's standards, and you're better off with 3G and HSDPA. The cost of using of any of the three depends on your subscription.
If you mean GPS, then using it is free. The downloading of maps for your location, if not pre-installed on the 2GB micro-sd card, isn't free and would require access to the network of your service provider. Better do that over Wi-Fi. A-GPS, which could help the GPS to quickly get a lock on your location also requires network access. Better turn off A-GPS if your subscription does not give you a substantial amount of time or free use of 3G, HSDPA, EDGE or GPRS services. Read the user manual to learn how.

the processing speed of n82 just rocks.cameris outstandind, the dumb part is the battery,still good with the xenon flash. N82 just rocks.........

just bought this phone yesterday anyone knows how to change the alarm to ring once only.. cuase it seem like it will automatically set to snooze function.

the radio doesnt have equalizer. it only applies to the music player and im glad n82's got a 8-band equalizer which is more flexible to tweak than my previous n81 which had only 5-band. having both 2 great music phones, n91 and n81 8gb, music experience on n82 is good enough for me. audio quality via headsef cant compete with n81 and n91 but its enough for me at least. the only disadvantages are the lack of hardware music keys which is very handy. i have to look at my n82's screen everytime i'll rewind or skip a song. but sound through the speakers are great. sound is better than n81 this time. soon i'll buy an 8gb card to load more songs. its just incredible. its like having everything in your hands. plus the black casing is so beautiful and classy.

Just buy a black one. Amazing cam phone.. Just one thing bother me. The D_pad look so vunerable. I think i can remove it with a little flick of myfinger nail. Scary. Anyone notice this?

ok, i found the equalizer setting but i don't think it is applied to the radio function. does anyone know?
there is no lag, the phone is very, very responsive at this point.

yo guys......just picked up my n82 black today! i have to say it is definitely a solid piece of work. it is my first nokia and first symbian device, to be honest, there's so much stuff on with this phone that i figure it's gonna take me a while to learn and explore all the functions. main thing is that i am loving the damn thing. by the way i can't seem to find the equalizer for radio or music......anyone?
i also want to thank all of you for the advice and support provided which made my decision to buy one much easier.
