Wow ! Based on the using of Garmin Mobile XT on N82 for few weeks time, i am suspecting that N82 gps chipset was actually SirfStar III because the specification as stated by the company. ~45sec cold start locked,~2sec hot start and 20 parallel channels !! N82 rox

Is there any chance of nokia revampin the n82 like they did to the n95>n95 8gb? I mean thts wht they alwys do with the n series...any clues??

Hey has anyone noticed problems with the nokia power button? I had a n70 but the power button wouldnt work so now my phone wont turn on. Does anybody know if this is a common problem? Would the n82 have this problem? Thanks.

N82 Probably the best nokia ever, I had a N80, with no problems for 2 Years, Upgraded my contact and got a SE K810i (it was just a phone with a good camera nothing more, nothing less!) Now I got the N82 from MTN and it's the best, the camera is better than the K810i, the phone support almost every application, the gps with garmin tx works great, the only problem so far, is that the battery doesn't last 24 hours (take in consideration that i'm on the phone 17 hours a month, send aprox 800 sms's a month) Using the phone as a modem, even a better experince than the K810i, Not sure what phone to buy, Take my word, go get a N82 and you will never regred it...

just to let you guys know that i installed VNES on my black n82 and it works slick. very good speed with sound support. can play in landscape mode as well. :)
up,up,down,down,left,right,left,right,b,a, start will give you 30 lives in contra. good stuff.

howd this phone get a 8.7 for design??? its the biggest candy form phone ive seen in friggin ages! plus itsmade from cheap plastic..wtf? i will say its the best phone on the market if u want a camera orientated phone.BUT, Here is a quote from smape.com.... The G900 seems to be a better option as long as the camera functionality / overall functionality ratio is concerned... i know what im gettin next and it aint the size of a brick either.

With regards to the Previous Issue concerning N82 Connected Via USB where DATA mode cannot be selected: This issue occurs every time data mode is selected. this prevents me using the phone on a computer without PC Suite (to copy files). The phone was working with the original OS, I update to latest version 20 and have installed a few Software (I have the Original N82) before it happened. This issue seem to be preventing acccess to the phone when using a blue tooth Dongle as well, the phone can connect but the card cannot be accessed. Has anyone encountered this issue or has a solution?
