I like SE P1i's touch screen features and hand-writing recognition/capabilities specially when you are browsing the Internet using this phone. It would seem you are just using an i-phone. Awesome, great, amazing touch screen! Wow! An excellent model of Sony-Ericsson!
I like my Nokia N82's camera. It produces nice and good quality pictures (5 megapixels and with million colors) with powerful xenon flash and DVD-like videos (30 frames per seconds).
Both of these phones SE P1i and Nokia N82 are simply amazing model! I recommend you to buy either of these phones and better if both of them!

Very Good overall phone but screen and keypad should improve.Perhaps N82-2 with good screen, better keypad,all connectors at bottom,two sided speaker will add perfection to this allrounder.

orderd a BP-6MT 1350mah battery for the N82. i will review this battery wen i get it. :)

for internet, again no doubt n82 beats 5610. Gprs speed 107kbps is way better. It also has wifi with upnp. The web browser is more advanced and you will be also be able to watch videos on youtube once the more advanced version(which includes flashlite 3) is realeased.
Keep no doubts and definitely go for the n82.

Can it be some imposter trying to stir trouble between SE and Nokia at SE site? This should be a forum to comment about how you felt after using the phone and not stepping on one another because you don't like their brand name.

if you hv the budget then go for the n82. Dont buy the 5610 for music coz music xpress is just a software and the sound quality is not good. More over the headset provided with it is mediocre. The camera is good in both the fones but n82 has a xenon flash. Looks wise 5610 is sexy and that two way navi-slide(just below d screen) is cool. But the n82 has way more features than the 5610. 5610 doesnt have even 1/4th of d features of n82. Also n82 is the best fone in the market.
Final words: Buy n82 and you wont regret.

Hi all! I recently got my faulty N82 replaced wit a brand new N82 courtesy Nokia. Thax Nokia for it.
Nokia is a great brand and we should thank our stars that we are holding this brand in our hands.

how truthful are you here? some are saying he has this phone, he has that phone. some are saying he has some of the current expensive phones at the same time. sounds unbelievable. are you all rich here?

I have the N95, N82 and the K850 and i call tell you from experience of each for at least one month, the n82 rules them all out. First of all the N95 was far superior than the k850 as discussed in other forums. Second even though N95 and n82 have the same features it narrows it down to portability and the look. I am not sayin the n95 is bad but i believe carrying a n82 which all these great features pretty much beats the N95. Though if you like slider phones then N95 is for you but otherwise i believe the n82 is pretty much one of the top multimedia phones at the moment

se k850: 4votes
thats how the n95(ofcourse n82 has the same camera quality) KILLED the k850.
If you want to run away from reality and still want to praise ur k850 on basis of biased reviews, you are free to do so.

this phone sucks coz it relly aint lookin good at alll for its big prize. the only good thing about the phone is wlan coz its rival k850i aint support the wlan. bu the built and appearence of k850i is far ahead of n82

If you can afford N82, it's a powerful multimedia device. I mean it doesn't look like one, but I can't think of any phone model outside Nokia portfolio that's even more powerful than this. But if you have extra pennies, I suggest you go for N95 8Gb. It's even more feature packed. The xenon flash isn't that much of a big deal. The important thing is it's got the best 5 megapixel camera in a phone today. And by the way, that is just one department which is the imaging. The N95 8Gb has got a lot more features than N82: larger, brighter screen, built in 8Gb memory, hardware music keys, better, louder speakers, infrared, and sexier look.

I'd choose the n95 8gb (even the n95-1) over the n82. The n95 variants is the true all-in-one device. N82 is Nokia's powerful cameraphone right now that has all extra features of N95. The thing is, I like the larger screen, dual slide form factor, music keys, of N95, even strongly emphasizing it as an all-in-one device. Plus the fact that N95 has got infrared even if it's virtually useless now is even more of an extra. It doesn't matter if N95 has no xenon flash, at least it's got flash. Plus the firmware update of the N95 is really enhancing the true capabilities of it. So my final verdict: N95 is the true all-in-one device based on the extras I've mentioned that aren't in the N82. On the other hand, N82 is a powerful cameraphone that has powerful features almost the same as N95. For me, I'd choose the larger screen, dual slide form factor, music keys, plus infrared over the candybar form factor and xenon flash.

am not complaning about the auto focus. ofcourse in a pitch black room when it can focus the pic will def comes good. no doubt. but wht about those which it can't focus? did u take an unfocus pic? u'll see the difference. & here the infinitive focus comes very handy cause it has xenon flash!
& ofcourse the brightness. told before that not everywhere flash is needed when there r strong light in a room / hall. just take a pic in strong light selecting in which light u r under without flash & u'll see that the pic got more naturality. in this circumtances brightness / exposure compensation do the tricks. N78 & N96 pic will be good. u see nokia is giving these things in their upcoming sets. but they shld given these in N82.
