Nokia N82 - User opinions and reviews

Ok guys...looking to buy a new phone used to be into se's but now i like nokias a lot..now what do you guys think about an Iphone compared to the N82..I think features wise the N82 has alot more features to offer..but i was just thinking if the touchscreen and all of the iphone is worth it..thanks guys

Through head phone N82 sound is very good, for me it is 10 times better than N73. So I think u won’t regret.

i bought this phone on ebay and couldnt wait to get it, got it and was kinda dissapointed...ended up swaping it. I just couldnt get over the size and thickness of the phone and the plastic casing..it just felt like i was holdin a cheap old school phone..i know its spose to be the best phone on the market but just couldnt get over the whole size/plastic thing..was really looking forward to owning this phone too :(

i just have not any imagination whats the big diffrence on sounds it can be thats the only problem for me and im curious how firmware will fix that ... im gonna use the headset alot i have now n73 and its nice headphone but im looking for better camera with no less quality of sounds surely .. im realy very confused

I used to be a SE Fan since 5 years.
Now I have changed to Nokia, cause of this amazing N82 Phone. I bought it 2 months ago and its outstanding quality. It worth each dollar spent to get it.
Amazing camera, very good quality sounds, amazing WiFi and GPS functions.
Battery is the main disadvantage, if Nokia release a larger batteries compatible with this phone, it will be the king of the market.

And btw, the battery life is pretty good. Not as strong as N95 8GB though. However, surely the battery is far better than N96's 950mAh battery, what a shame.

One thing to remember:
At least Nokia never lies about battery life, unlike SE who promises unbelievable hours of battery life but never lives to their promise.
I had a K800i and N73 before (bought over one month split time). After I charged them together, I left both in power saving mode. Who would've thought that K800i died 3 hours before my N73 did. What a shame for a phone that promises 7 hours of standby time.

N82's sound quality is clearly not as good as N95 8GB, but it's still acceptable, specially after the firmware upgrade - everything's great. I prefer to use the earphones more often though, since it provides far better quality than the actual speakers. And while were talking earphones, mind you that N95 8GB packs in a better earphone than N82.

N82's screen size and quality is also a notch lower than N95 8GB. But overall, I would probably suggest N82, since it's totally smaller and lighter, not to mention the best camera ever. Who needs 8GB of internal memory when you can have 8GB memory card plus 100MB of internal memory?

Buy this phone for its camera and auto UI-rotate, or the N95 for bigger screen and [not that far] better sound quality. But the price difference are definitely an issue, if you ask me.

Black is old Nokia techinque to give life to its old model fones,statter from N73.Only shell case is changed which is hardly 5$ chinese made.Otherwise specs remain same.Dont buy just for casing and pay more,its a finfer print magnet need a amunsen cloth n pocket to clean looks awkward too.There is no great inovation left ONLY processor speed slowly increase n tens and pixel squares per inch verses resolution XVGA 640x320 basic PC resol still yet rare,but mega pixel unless optical zoom added is useless only fixed zoom which does not move lens forward/backward to focus.This is all Farce and public is crazy ignorant n buying spree on number game,get teached before u buy.

hello everybody. i would like to ask you about playing mp3 on this mobile if its quality and loudness is good enough and how compare to n95 8gb as im preparing for buying new mobile and soo confusing which to buy and im very curious about sounds please some one advise me for that . thank you:)

I'm thinking of buying this phone as a b-day gift for myself...Unfortunately I still have to earn money from my salary because I only have Php 16,000.. But its fine with me maybe the price of this phone would go down until July 27 comes..But I wish you could make a phone that has the same capabilities of N82 with Dual Sim both active and a TV on it...But anyways, Great Job Nokia...
