    @ganu

    there is a multimedia key in n82. The small button to the right of the d-pad(the one between the back & clear key.)

    @undecided

    u cannot edit the office documents with the software preloaded on the n82. But there is an upgrade for it on the nokia site. With that u can surely edit the documents.

    @everyone

    I am posting this from my n6233 using opera mini 4. There are many comments in this section with the same ip i.e. M@t2. Just want to tell every one that those comments are not 4m me. Guess anyone who posts using opera mini gets the same ip.

            *Hahahahahahaha
            * Daym this is beautiful ay, something that is supposed to upgrade tha phone(diode) is the thing thats acctually making it worse. Ayo lets all be honest-N81s screen beats both the N82 and N73 screen in all aspect. Its just that us here over at the N81 side dont have HSDPA, 5MPX camera with xenon flash, and accelerometer! OTHERWISHE THA NOKIA N81 2GB AND 8GB WOULD CRUSH YOU! -EVIL LAUGGGGHHHHHH- Peace

              O sweet so you can watch video with this mobile. But one question still reamains for me, can this phone edit office word documents? I know it has a document viewer but what's the point of that if it can edit it.

                Last year's phone is now the coolest phone.

                Wish that Nokia work on N83 because N96 is such a waste.

                  The color black is great. N82 is much better than N95/N95 8GB BECAUSE it is fat in your pocket.

                  Maybe the battery of N82 is still a little insufficient. I wish NOKIA would work on that.

                    You can watch clips from YouTube using the N82 (via Real Player), and save the link as well (which you'll find in the Gallery folder).

                      I can't decide on which phone to get, this, or the n95 8gb. Other than the fact the n95 has 8gb storage memory and a larger screen, I think the n82 is better. You could always add memory to it via sd card. But my biggest concern is watching video online. Is it possible to watch flash videos on the n82? Cause I know that the n95 had a firmware update that gives it the cappabilities to watch videos on youtube and other websites with flash content. Does anyone know if it's possible on this phone?

                            (1)No led flash for video
                            (2)Lack of multimedia key
                            did you think the next firmware fix the brightness problem.

                                Ur light sensor works well, because that's what it does! to maintain the backlit of the screen so that it deosn't appear to be too bright in the dark and not too faded in the light

                                  There is no point in comparing N82 and experia because they are in a different class!

                                  lets try to stay on topic...

                                  as regards N82 against N73, there is actually a need to discuss their similarities/differences since N82 is meant to be the successor of N73

                                  regarding the SCREEN:

                                  N82 light sensor s****! that is probably the reason why the N73 screen seems more vibrant. Light sensor is meant to detect light and adjust the brightness of the backlight accordingly.

                                  I dont know how nokia engineers program it, i tried facing it with a lamp and also covering the light sensor, thus mimicking a dark room, but the backlight remained the same, if it indeed changed, then i couldn't notice it. the screen seems washed out, its not as bright as N73.

                                  it's actually a waste of the 16M screen, which brings me to another point.

                                  A human eye can perceive only about 10M color, but can actually only differentiate at most around a hundred thousand of color. plus, considering that the size of the screen is only 2.4 inch in 240x320 pixels, it's impossible to spot the difference.

                                  .

                                    regarding the PERFORMANCE:

                                    this is where N82 excels.
                                    It is indeed worthy of being called a N73 successor. The processor is much faster, it has now a clock speed of 333mhz, which means that the processing time is shorter. It is obviously faster than N73, it doesn't lag as much when scrolling or scanning files and takes pictures much faster, in fact, its much faster than N95original.

                                    also, having 128MB really helps a lot, multi tasking is a breeze. No more insufficient memory, unless of course if you push it to the limits. This would also mean less chances of freezing.

                                    .

                                      why didn't nokia just use the backlighting technology of n73 to n82 so the display would be as great as n73..

                                        of course n82 is a better phone.. bu if were talking only of displays... nothng beats n73, I have to admit it...
