hey guys, can I turn the capture sound off. I haven't found it yet. I think it is not possible even in silent mode.

To o4)q,,,have you even got the phone to make that statement of untruth,,in reallity you have got it pickled in your own head that the keys are bad and they are perfect..
The n82 has 5 presets and you can make your own and i have another 4...The n82 has 8 equaliser bands to adjust to your taste plus balance ,loudness ,,and stereo widening settings and also has 3d ringtones with cave echos,,trajectory speed ,,all the n73 super ringtone adjustments...Do not use the supplied headfones if you want bass,,but if you like clear sound their top class and the in-line remote is skinny its a shame its not able to split in two so you can use the remote with your own headfones....
I used the tv cables yesterday to run a slideshow on my tele with music in background of your choice..because i had aunts ,,grannys etc round because it was my birthday i used flight of volcarys and it was impressive to say the least....I used the phone heavily yesterday with xenon flash photos and video both at full res and was down to 2 bars after about 9hrs use !!! my old n95 would have died after 4 using it like that at xmas..
YOU can do whatever you want using the tv output for a bigger experiance i.e. powerpoint..browsing..
I still have not found services icon its not their like n95,,this allows you to view wap pages,,does anyone know of a WAP browser i can download because even mini opera does not work wap..I want voda live to get my music but unable as yet,,ta brynn

I few days back went to Nokia Careline to upgrade firmware of my N 82 as i was having older firmware on my phone. They took my phone and asked me to wait. After some time a guy came out of the lab room and told me that while upgrading my device something went wrong and my phone died. I was shocked to know about it. The asked for my permission to send it to Nokia Service in other city. I was told to b patient and wait for 15 days. I was given a standby phone 6300. I miss my N82 more than my wife and girlfriend. I suggest all readers to b ready for the worst if u want an upgrade to firmware. I appeal all form members to write to Nokia on my behalf and request them to swap my faulty device wit a new one. Please all of you....

Just update the firmware for N82 and you will have the same volume as the N95. I updated mine and its very loud like N95. Love my N82!!!

Just the best all-in-one phone ever build! Every single feature is working perfectly! To the camera, the video recording, GPS, WiFi, 3G, TV out, 3.5mm audio jack and many more functions!
Even surfing the web with the N82 is the same with my computer except the screen is smaller. For the price of $480USD almost everywhere now, this is the best quality vs price phone available!!!
I have the black edition with the last firmware v.20, there's simply no bug.

when i first saw this phone i thought it was from sony ericsson.
the design is just like sony ericsson.
maybe nokia really aimed to copy the design of sony ericsson k850.
and its flash. but they put a better one.
but it doesnt have face detection.

the best (all rounder) phone with the best camera in the market.. dont hesitate to buy it if u gonna.. go ahead right away.. and purchase the black nokia n82.. its a decision u will never regret! its much better than all the other 5 megapixel cam phones in the market.. due to a number of reasons and if possible.. forgive nokia for not being able to give it a screen of n95 8gb.. they cudnt coz that would increased the size of the phone.. the keypad may look aweful and difficult to use.. but its been made very well.. very easy to use and texting is a pleasure.. super UI and excellent camera and flawless flash.. the perfect phone and its value for money too!!

I just don't understand sometimes the people because they're always complaining if the celfone is firngerprintless, I think there's no celfone nowadays that are fingerprint free in any brand. As long as your hands are dirty it stick to your celfone. I don't know why this is important to you people. I think you'd better look of the internal quality of the phone and how does it helps you when you're using it...hello, wake up people!!!

J am impressed by my nokia n82 but have one problem.J have updated to the latest firmware version 20.0.62 balkans product code.It was an asian version firmware but J changed product code and then update newest balkans version.When receiving incoming voice call sometimes first starts video call camera then j have to receive voice call.The phone is set to gsm mode only not to dual mode.Is it bug or not.Mayby setting are wrong.Please help all n82 funs.Best regard to all.

I suppose everyone who cares that much for the fingerprints is a girl. or maybe gay.I have a silver one and it is a gr8 colour. yes it leaves fingerprints but who cares about that. Don't you think it is annoing to see that every post includes colour.

fyi my friend gopalala has purchased a black n82 which came with 8 GB MicroSDHC Card. He purchased at a local NPD Shop.

gopalala has informed me that the black n82 is now available in local npd shops. do check it.
