Hey guys
I was thinking to get a good phone after quite a long time, I went for N82, and I would say it's the best I've seen so far. GPS is good, the camera is excellent, in short everything works well.
Everyone talks about the small key size, but it's not bad, not that comfortable but there is no place to complain.
The battery lasts for one day, less than two days at the most. So the only defect if you can call it one. I'm very happy with it in general.

The black n82 does NOT come with 8GB. I own one. Its basically the same as the titanium, only difference is the color n that has updated firmware and geotagging photos....I saw a black housing on sale on ebay from HK.

The Black N82 is coming with a 8GB MicroSD? Are you sure? Why is the pricing between the Titanium and Black so close. . . .actualy very similar?

feature wise, black n82 comes with 8 GB MicroSDHC Card, while the titanium version comes only with 2 GB card.
Firmware on black n82 is latest - v20, but firmware of titanium version can easily be upgraded to v20.
Rest everything else is same.

Hi all,
just saw a lot of pictures of the black n82 from link from this site: www.then82blog.com.
the black seems way cooler than the original titanium.
anyone has idea on the difference between the titanium and black n82? feature wise?

i own the Nokia n82... and it has a rather adequate battery time with a bit of heavy usage... according to what you've said, it would last more than one day for sure... the battery would finish up the second night... and i think you forgot to mention about usage of its camera... because it has xenon flash..! hope it helpz

N82 is a great phone, very good pictures, very good sound, usable GPS, everything a good great phone have

hey guyz, please please i need an immediate answer!
i had N73 for 6 monthes, and since the very fist week it got stuck! i always need to turn it off and remove the battery then turn it on again to make it work! i got sick of it, so i sold it and i got the Nokia 5610 xpress music, and it is nothing compared to my N73:(
i want to buy the N82, and i must do it immideately before i lose my offer, do you guyz recommend it?? or will it get stuck like the N73??
i hear that the N series mobiles have an error in thier software and they get stuck all the time, is this true??
plzzzz help me to decide as soon as possible!

CAn some1 please gimme an honest answer to my question.
How long does battery last with heavy usage ? with the following turned off:
- 3G set to 2G
- WiFi put to Disabled
- Bluetooth Disabled
n heavy usage i mean:
- 2-5 hours music via headphnes full volume
- 1-2.5 hours wifi (browing/msn)
- 2hours call each day
- abot 100 txts each day

@ jane,,the n82 you are handling are dummy models...The n82 buttons are great to use you cannot press wrong key cause area is small but on big buttons they adjoin each other so close that wrong keys can be pressed..the n82 keys are dead easy to fel and select you know when your on the slit buttons precisley

Just bought the black N82 on phonesource-usa.com $490USD, very very beautiful. Come with the latest firmware v20.
Camera quality is amazing for picture and video. GPS and WIFI are working very good too. The battery last long enough, average usage last 2 days, not bad at all!
This phone is just the best all-in-one phone for at the moment! You will not regret it!

Usually a company will change the color of a phone at the end of the life cycle of the phone, to entice people buying the phone. That Nokia decided so soon that it needed to have a black one shows without doubt that the phone is really not selling well...Already saw dozens of N95 8Gb, but still have to see one N82. Too big and ugly, better wait for the 6220C...
